Up at 8:30 and got group 22. My wife is not feeling well and wanted to sleep in so we missed our window. Does anyone know if they let you in even if your window passes like the do (did) for Guardians??

Just made it to WWoS. For future reference, the Cast Member made a comment about our passes being expired but she let us in no problem.

It kind of sucks that I’m wasting an hour of vacay waiting for this merch group. Already got my bibs and went through the expo building. I’m hot and tired already and my room ready text gives me room on the first floor. Waaaaa get your tiny violins out for me.

So my read on the situation from afar is that I shouldn’t bother with merch with this new VQ system for future race weekends. Probably not what they hoped for.

I was group 45 and called about on time, at 11:49. Scanned in 11:52 to merch and after some switchbacks made it in at 12:06. Snuck one of the last few Dopey hats (saw maybe a dozen). Womens dopey sweaters were down to smalls and a few mediums which weren’t really selling because they’re SO small. I think a L or XL would be comparable to a unisex small. The purple dopey zip up jackets were gone too. I wandered around and mobile checked out at 1:15, no line to leave with QR.

They still had all medal pins but Goofy was definitely running low when I left. Dopey still pretty stocked. Tables of stuff not being bought were a mess. Tanks seem to be mostly down to smaller sizes but they do run unisex TTS. T shirts don’t seem as popular. Plenty of stuff like mugs. But definitely getting picked over. I’m not a magnet person but slim pickings left it seemed. CMs said everything out is what’s left.

In line for Dopey photo and very long and slow moving. Haven’t gotten bib or shirts yet.

Interesting, I wonder if this year they put everyone with a POT in the same corral?

My cousin had POT and is in B for the half/full! I think hers was around 1:50.

Only thing I want is the Dopey magnet. I have the distance magnet for every rundisney race Ive done.

Fingers crossed there will still be one left in half an hour. If not, I've had luck with returns being in the merchandise tent at the end of the race in the past, but we'll see.

Omg this is like watching Black Friday craziness from before the pandemic . I can't say I'm terribly upset to be missing the pandemonium. I will just have to see what's left when I go on Friday; fortunately there's nothing I feel like I absolutely must have.

I was going to look for a Dopey mug but my VQ estimated time is 5:10, I have dinner rea at 4:30, and I'm done with bib pickup. I may come back tomorrow but Im gonna bail on the merch area.
