If we are in the MK on the day we will attend the party, do we have to exit and re-enter? When I purchased the tickets, Member Services said they put them on our Magic Bands. Thanx.

I do believe there are check in locations inside the park to get your wrist band.
BTW nothing is "on" your magic band. Everything is linked to your MDE and your magic band just accesses the ticket info.

I realize that; in fact I asked the representative if I didn't still need to go to Will Call to get a "hard copy" ticket. She said - no. I do, of course, have a confirmation number. Thank you.

There are 2 or 3 spots in MK that they will distribute bands to those already in the parks. I believe one is in Tomorrowland somewhere close to Buzz. They'll just scan your band at one of those locations to verify the ticket entitlement.

I've heard tortuga tavern in adventureland is another one-OP lots of info on the Halloween threads on the theme park board.

How do they prevent people who don't have a ticket from just staying in the park and experiencing the shows? I'm not going, but I've always been curious about it.

They do a sweep and check wristbands at every ride or store. Of course someone might get missed but most get escorted to the front if they hand out too long.

Oh, okay. I wondered about that, I always thought they closed the park and then reopened and I thought that must be chaos. I'd love to attend one year, maybe if I get grandchildren one day. :thumbsup2

They actually did that years ago. When you entered you got your wristband and were directed to Tomorrowland, and then at 7:00 they would open the rest of the park to party goers.

If they wanted to, they could track non event guests by their MB's.
