Just had a press release from TCD about their new 747 service to Orlando, and plans to increase the number of flights. Here's what they say:
"Basically, the 2002 summer Florida programme has sold so well, and Easter 2003 is already so booked up, that TCD is putting on some extra flights in October and is starting its jumbo jet series early next year and in time for Easter.
The 2 extra flights this year will be on 24th and 31st October from London Gatwick, offering a range of durations from 3 nights through to 21 nights, with all return flights on BA. Prices start from £289 per person flydrive.
2 special Easter flights for next year are now offered from LGW & MAN on 12th April for 14 nights, with prices starting from £499 flydrive.
The Summer 2003 programme will start 2 months early on 26th April from LGW and MAN, starting off as a fortnightly service, increasing to weekly from 10th May. From 28th June, the regular thrice-weekly service from both LGW and MAN will recommence (Thurs, Fri, Saturday), increasing summer capacity by over 7,000 seats. Prices will start from £289 based on flydrive.
Bookings are being taken already."
