Most Play Songs on Your Ipod

Thanks everyone. I am updating the songs on my work iPod and will take a look at some of the songs you all listen to most.

I do find it interesting that a lot of you have groups of songs by the same artist on your top 10. I usually play mine random, so it ends up being a random mix.

I know for me when I buy a new album by an artist I will listen to that album multiple times to find the songs I do like and will listen to most often. Then I create playlists with favorite songs. That is how they end up on my most played list.

Apparently I really like Nickelback.

We have 3 doubles:

I'm Not Okay - My Chemical Romance
Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters - Elton John
She Will Be Loved - Maroon 5

I do playlists a lot w/my favorite stuff. That causes some songs to get a lot of play that way. Sometimes I end up repeating one song over and over on a day.

I went to high school in the 80's, so maybe some of you can relate to a few of my songs played.
Just can't get enough- Depeche Mode
Panic- The Smiths
Jesus of Suburbia- Green Day
Optimistic- Radiohead
Creep- Radiohead
Tempted- Squeeze
Exit Music- Radiohead
Last Night on earth- Green Day
Ramble on- Led Zeppelin
Baba O'Reily- The Who

That seems to be what I've been playing a lot lately.

1. Us - Regina Spektor
2. Ghost of the Corporate Future - Regina Spektor
3. **** the Pain Away - Peaches
4. Sunlight - Bag Raiders
5. Sometimes - Miami Horror
6. Roman's Revenge - Nicki Minaj/Eminem
7. Waters of Nazareth - Justice
8. Harvest Time - The Bloody Beetroots
9. XXXO - MIA
10. Christian Dior Denim Flow - Kanye West

Some surprising results! I definitely did not expect Sunlight, Sometimes, Waters of Nazareth, or XXXO to be up there.

For the most part I just have it on shuffle. My iPod must just really like TOADM.

No time for a nap, I actually work full time (I'm on lunch break replying to this). Probably more than a lot of the contributers to this thread can say. :rolleyes1
Very rude comment, I am posting at home on a tuesday morning as I work full time shifts and did a night shift weekend. So that makes monday and tuesday my weekend. As to music most played are Old Harrys game radio show (don't know if you have heard of this radio 4 show set in satan's realm and is really funny) and the music from the Hours but when I listen to it I don't think about the film. in 2009 I got an allotment (which was amazing as in some places the waiting list is over 10 years) it needed a lot of work on it so when I was digging in a nice warm april I was listening to the hours and think of that every time I listen to it, it makes me feel warm and happy.

This is what iTunes is telling me:

1. Living Room - Tegan & Sara
2. My Number - Tegan & Sara
3. Intervention - The Arcade Fire
4. Feel It In My Bones - Tiesto f/ Tegan & Sara
5. The World's Not Bad - Smoosh
6. M79 - Vampire Weekend
7. Soldier in the Army - Steel Train
8. Long Forgotten Fairytale - The Magnetic Fields
9. Call it Off - Tegan & Sara
10. Made to Love - tobyMac*
10. Alone on the Sea - Steel Train*

* Same number of plays.

I've never really paid attention to what I play the most. I actually thought there'd be some Phish songs in the list, but I guess since I have so many live shows on my iPod they seem to play a lot, but rarely the same songs.

I've become friends with one of my neighbors, she is 87-years old. We are sharing some music (NOT Green Day, LOL!) - right now I am adding the following to my iTunes (I like all kinds of music, except rap):

Josh Groban
Dean Martin
Broadway Favorites
Frank Sinatra
Ella Fitzgerald
Patsy Cline
Nat King Cole
Bobby Darin

I gave her Celtic Woman, Vince Guaraldi Trio (great theme music from Charlie Brown!), Benny Goodman, Andrea Bocelli.

I never heard of 3OH!3 - I'm off to YouTube to get educated!

Well, to each his own! I'll stick to Green Day, but enjoy! :)

I thought 3OH!3 sounded familiar so I checked my iPod. I have My First Kiss by them. Thank you So You Think You Can Dance. :dance3:
