Most romantic song EVER

"I Love the Way You Love Me" - John Michael Montgomery

"I Melt" and "Bless the Broken Road"- Rascal Flatts

Those are my favorites.

What did you think
I would do at this moment
When you're standing before me
With tears in your eyes
Trying to tell me
that you have found you another
and you just don't love me no more

What did you think
I would say at this moment
When I'm faced with the knowledge
That you just don't love me
Did you think I would curse you
Or say things to hurt you
'cause you just don't love me no more

Did you think
I could hate you
Or raise my hands to you
Now come on you know me too well
How could I hurt you
when darling I love you
and you know
I'd never, never hurt you-oo-wo-oo...

What do you think
I would give at this moment
If you'd stay
I'd subtract twenty years from my life
I'd fall down on my knees
and kiss the ground that you walk on
If I could just hold you again

I'd fall down on my knees
I'd kiss the ground that you walk on baby
If I could just hold you

If I, could just hold you

If I, if I could just hold-hold you, again

I like "Arianne" sung by Johnny Mathis and "When You Say Nothing At All" sung by Alison Krauss.

And I'd much rather hear Sophie than Bryan Adams any day of the week! :)

Billy Vera, I remember that song well

I love, LoveSong by the Cure

But what if it was Sophie singing "I Do It For You"? :rolleyes1

Unchained Melody
Beyond the Sea
Only Fools Rush In

Bang a Gong (get it on)

It was the song we played at our wedding.....:lmao:

Our first dance song was:

I love the way you love me (John Michael Montgomery)

It suits us but there are a million more romantic songs!

Is it really, really showing my age that I think of Alex P. Keaton, all weapy and sad when I hear that song?!?!? :sad1: :sad2:

Nope. I always think of Alex when I hear it. Then I think of how over-played it was. If ever a song got too much airplay, that was it.

But it is a very good song.

Unchained Melody
Somewhere in the Night
Could It Be Magic

Honestly the first song that popped into my head was "My eyes adored you". :confused3 :rotfl:

After some thought though-

In your eyes / Peter Gabriel
Waiting for a girl like you / Foreigner
Something/ The Beatles
I Love You/ Climax Blues Band
Brighter than Sunshine / Aqualung
Faithfully / Journey
Just remember I love you / Firefall

I could go on and on and ON. But I will stop there. :)

"Nymphetamine (Fix)" by Cradle of Filth --
I walked into my Wedding to this song. Yeah I know I wanted to be different and have an enterance song even though I was the groom....What can I say my DW and I have a different sense of Romance.

Lead to the river
Midsummer, I waved
A V of black swans
On with hope to the grave
And through Red September
With skies fire-paved
I begged you appear
Like a thorn for the holy ones

Cold was my soul
Untold was the pain
I faced when you left me
A rose in the rain...
So I swore to the razor
That never, enchained
Would your dark nails of faith
Be pushed through my veins again

Bared on your tomb
I am prayer for your loneliness
And would you ever soon
Come above unto me?
For once upon a time
From the binds of your lowliness
I could always find
The right slot for your sacred key...

Six feet deep is the incision
In my heart, that barless prison
Discolours all with tunnel vision
Sunsetter...
Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condiion
This lust, this vampyric addiction
To Her alone in full submission
None better...
Nymphetamine

Wracked with your charm
I am circled like prey
Back in the forest
Where whispers persuade
More sugar trails
More white lady laid
Then pillars of salt...

Fold to my arms
Hold their mesmeric sway
And dance out to the moon
As we did in those golden days

Christening stars
I remember the way
We were needle and spoon
Mislaid in the burning hay

Bared on your tomb
I am prayer for your loneliness
And would you ever soon
Come above unto me?
For once upon a time
From the binds of your lowliness
I could always find
The right slot for your sacred key...

Six feet deep is the incision
In my heart, that barless prison
Discolours all with tunnel vision
Sunsetter...
Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condiion
This lust, this vampyric addiction
To Her alone in full submission
None better...
Nymphetamine
