The Mother-Daughter Birthday Trip
February 9-16 2013

***Just bear with me on the formatting and picture issues. I'm still trying to figure everything out. :rotfl2:***

Introductions

Marissa (ME!)

Hello everyone! I am very excited to write my first ever trip report! But first some introductions are definitely in order. My name is Marissa and I have loved Disney for as long as I can remember but the obsession has grown in the recent years. My dream has always been to go to Disney with my best friends and this past February our dreams came true! We are from Louisiana so we took this trip during Mardi Gras holidays. The trip also happened to land during my 18th birthday, so that made it extra magical. I mean, who wouldnt want to turn 18 in the most magical place on earth?!

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom
Favorite Ride: Tower of Terror
Favorite Restaurant: Kona (food) Cinderellas Royal Table (experience)
Favorite Character: Rapunzel, Cinderella, Mickey, and Minnie

Denise (aka my mother)

My mom is truly one of a kind. She can make you laugh like no one else even if she doesnt mean too. She has one of the biggest hearts and is kind to everyone she meets. She is SUPER talkative and will talk to anyone in the parks. She doesnt like to ride many rides so she really just loves Disney for the overall feel and experience. She was really excited about our trip, especially when I told her it was just going to be a mother-daughter trip.

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom
Favorite Rides: Toy Story Mania
Favorite Restaurant: Cinderellas Royal Table
Favorite character: Minnie

Courtney

Courtney and I are alike in many ways. Our love for Disney is pretty much the same and thats one of the reasons we get along so well. We are best friends and we both plan on doing the college program during spring 2015. Courtney and I both scuba dive and it is hard to find girls our age who are certified, so when we found that out it was pretty much fate that we should be best friends. We always have the best time when we are together and Im so happy we went on this trip together.

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom
Favorite Rides: Splash and Space Mountain
Favorite Restaurant: Kona (food) and Sci-fi dine-in (experience)
Favorite character: Ariel

Mrs. Robyn
Mrs. Robyn is Courtneys mom and is one of the funniest and most trustworthy people I have ever met. She is such a kid at heart and I was so happy she could come along on this trip. She loves anything and everything that deals with Halloween.

Favorite Park: Animal Kingdom
Favorite Ride: Splash Mountain
Favorite Restaurant: Boma
Favorite character: Cheshire cat

Jenny

Jenny is another best friend of mine. If someone would have told me a year and a half ago the three of us were going to Disney together I wouldnt have believed it. We all had chemistry class and thats when the planning for this trip began. Jenny is one of the sweetest people youll ever meet and I cant imagine her not being on this trip.

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom
Favorite Ride: Rockin Roller Coaster
Favorite Restaurtant: Kona (food) and Cinderellas Royal Table (experience)
Favorite character: Flynn and Rapunzel

Mrs. Sherry

Mrs. Sherry is Jennys mom. She is just like Jenny, or more like Jenny is just like her. They are both just as sweet as can be and when you put them together their happiness just spreads. Mrs. Sherry loves Disney as much as any child which is why she was perfect for this trip.

Favorite Park: Epcot
Favorite Ride: Expedition Everest
Favorite Restaurant: Kona and Ohana
Favorite Character: Winnie the Pooh, Rapunzel, Flynn, and Mary Poppins

Background

We came up with the idea for this trip from some YouTube videos, starring the frumps. Im sure many of you know what Im talking about. I told them about the videos in chemistry class and I thought how fun it would be to do a trip of our own and little by little we came up with a proposal to pitch to our moms. After two meetings over the summer the trip was on!

(Pre-Trip) February 7, 2013

Well here we are, 2 days before the trip! I can hardly contain myself; Im so excited! I still have a lot to do tomorrow. I worked my last shift of the week tonight and made some decent money which will be nice to spend in Disney. Courtney gave Jenny and I our bags today and they are SO cute. I get to miss school tomorrow for the LSU Academic Showcase, which will help Saturday get here a lot faster. Ive only packed a few things, so tomorrow when I get back from LSU Im going to spend my time packing.

(Pre-Trip) February 8, 2013

Today was the Academic Showcase at LSU. This trip made me realize how in love I am with the University and that I definitely made the right choice. Im glad it was the day before the trip because it was a nice distraction from my excitement. Although I slept on the way home after, my dad and I stopped at Steak n Shake on the way home. I got home and slept some more because I was really tired for some reason. I woke up around 10pm and pack till about 12am. I had to be up and ready by 5am so I needed some sleep.

Morning of February 9, 2013

Its DISNEY DAY! We picked up Courtney first and we just hugged at her door as soon as I got there and jumped up and down because we were going to Disney! Then the challenge was to fit the luggage into the car and the canoe. The canoe is a luggage carrier that Courtneys boyfriends family lent us. It was a life saver! Then we went to pick Jenny and Mrs. Sherry up. Mr. Kevin, Jennys dad, helped us put their bags into the canoe because it was tight squeeze once everything was in there. Then we took a few photos and we hit the road! We ate breakfast in Gulfport, MS at Chick-fil-a because I really wanted some chicken minis. For lunch we stopped at Moes in Lake City, FL.

Evening and Night of February 9, 2013

Today, we got to the resort and it is absolutely beautiful. The car ride in the beginning was fast and then towards the end it slowed down especially as we began to hit traffic. Mom was having trouble listening to our directions. She also kept getting very distracted and making everyone in the car nervous.:rotfl2: We had to rush once we got to the resort to make sure we made out Rainforest reservations on time. We did! Right before we ate I had a little surprise I needed to complete. My cousin who lives in Tampa is an AP holder and she turns 16 two days after my birthday. So my aunt and I devised a little plan back in November to surprise her for her sweet 16. I normally get to see her 2 maybe 3 times out of the year, so this was a big deal. I checked us in at Rainforest, added samantha and my aunt to the ADR and then it was time to commence the surprise. She had NO idea. My aunt texted me that they were in line and I jumped right in Samantha's face just as she was looking away. Her reaction was priceless! After dinner we just shopped a little. I went to the pin station and got a Mardi Gras pin, and Courtney got some pins. I also got a Mickey rice Krispy treat (which I didn't end up eating till i got home...oh well! haha). After Downtown Disney we went back to the resort and Courtney, Jenny, and I went exploring. We saw this extremely large tourist group and figured out they were leaving tomorrow. Thank goodness. We are in room 2611 in building 2 of Cars and couldnt be more pleased.

Day 1: February 10, 2013
The Longest and Best Day Ever!

We went to Epcot and Magic Kingdom today! We got to Epcot before it opened and covered A LOT of ground. The first thing we did was go to Test Track to get fastpasses. After that, we decided to ride Soarin since it was a relatively short wait, and by short wait I mean 25 minutes which for Soarin is unbelievable! Anyway, Soarin was fabulous as usual. Our time was up to get fastpasses, so we went to Mission Space to get more fastpasses. Then we headed to Test Track. Everything was SO different! We didnt get to create our own car, which was a little disappointing, but nonetheless the ride was fun. Everything looks like Tron. I kind of miss the old test track; it had so much character. We still had some time before our Mission Space fastpasses, so we went to Club Cool and tried all the foreign sodas. Italy's, the Beverly, was horrible, but Japan's was delicious. After taste testing the drinks we went to Mission Space to use our fastpasses. We went on the orange, but it wasnt as exciting as I remember. After we went to Season in The Land and ate lunch.

I had a chicken Caesar salad with delicious strawberry shortcake. By the way, I LOVE the dining plan, just thought I would throw that out there:rotfl:. We rested for a little bit and then it was on to England. We had decided to explore World Showcase for a little bit since we still had time to kill before our ADR at Kona. We took some pictures in the photo booth first and then we noticed some characters were out so naturally we decided to meet them.

We were taking pictures in the booth when the telephone rang, so naturally, we answered it. It was for Samantha&she didnt know who it was but she held a conversation with her about random things. While this was occurring we decided to take pictures in the other telephone booth. Then it was back to characters! First we met Alice, she was adorable and had lots of energy.

She noticed how Samantha, Jenny, and I were all wearing birthday buttons and Courtney wasnt. So, then she said how unbirthdays are better than real birthdays because you have 364 of them. Alice didnt even notice Courtney was wearing her sweatshirt! 9 We were going to move on but then noticed Mary Poppins was coming soon and we were third in line, so we decided to wait.

She was SO pretty, even my mom had to tell her. She told us how we should race on the carousel horses but that we would all win first place. Then it was picture time. She hadnt used her umbrella yet, but she pulled it out for our picture. SO FUN! Then we began to make our way to France when we saw Goofy!

We were on a roll with characters today. He was super fun. He noticed our birthday buttons and got excited and then he made a motion about how he liked my red sparkly converse. It was a fun character experience. We finally made it to France where we saw the waiter standing on stacks of chairs. It was scary and cool all at the same time. Then we had a photo op by the fountain in front of the Eiffel tower. We got some great shots.

After France, we went to Japan and took some pictures, like the infamous duck face and peace sign.

Courtney quickly explored the gift shop to see if she could find anything for Noah, but no luck. We would be back anyway for our ADR at Teppan Edo in a few days. We started to become short on time and still wanted to ride the Maelstrom, so off to Norway we went! There was a line for the Maelstrom (Since when does that happen?! :rotfl2:). Either way it was nice because it was air-conditioned inside and it was getting really hot outside. We rode the Maelstrom and got separated from the moms for a while so we had to wait 10 minutes for their boat to come after ours. We snuck through the movie, because we didn't feel like being inspired that day and we didnt want to push our ADR at Kona. So we walked towards the front of the park to catch the Monorail, but not before taking some last minute pictures in front of Spaceship Earth!

I love the monorail, it's just SO great. We rode it to the TTC where we transferred over to the resort monorail. The walk down the ramp and up to the resort monorail never gets easier. We arrived to Kona a few minutes early and had one of the first reservations, which was SUPER nice. I'm glad we got there early because I wanted to try and add Samantha and Aunt Felicia to the reservation. The CM said it was no problem, which I was really happy about. Then we decided to explore the Poly lobby. We looked at some pins and over a few Photopass pictures we took that day. Then we went downstairs to explore some more and find a place to sit. Finally it was time to head back to Kona for our reservation. We were so excited because it was time for Disney food! We started off with the best, the BREAD and it was SO good we had to have multiple loafs. Then we ordered drinks, and it turns out you can have a virgin daiquiri as part of the meal plan. So we took full advantage of that. Ms. Sherry and I had a pina colada while Jenny had the strawberry daiquiri. Courtney had something too but the name slips me. These were the best daiquiris I have ever had and that's saying something since I'm from New Orleans. If you go to Kona for anything, go for the bread and daiquiris. Then we ordered our meals, we all seemed to get the same thing: the New York steak with pineapple glaze. I think Samantha was the only one who got something different: the coconut almond chicken. Then it was time for dessert! I got the infamous Kona Kone, Courtney got the fondue, and Jenny got the chocolate cake.

It took us a while to leave because we were SO full, like it-hurt-to-move full. We finally got up to go to the monorail because MK had EMH so it was time to play! We got to MK with food babies and all, and we were just SO excited! We walked in and smelled Main Street and then noticed the small wait to meet the princesses, so we hopped in line. We were going to meet Cinderella(my favorite princess), Aurora, and Rapunzel. Cinderella was lovely and showed us her news and improved shoe so they didnt fall off. We took a shoe picture which was cute and all.

Then we met Aurora and she was nice. She wasnt very lively, so I was a little disappointed. Sometimes I feel like characters arent on their A game when other guests meet them, but did Rapunzel prove that statement wrong! She was fantastic! I went up to giver her a hug and my pins got caught in her hair so she said, We seem to have gotten Tangled! I was dying. Then we told her how Courtney had a food baby so she wanted to feel. It was so cute. THEN, we talked about our dinner, and where we were eating tomorrow night. She wanted to come but she said if she came it could become a hairy situation. The puns were just fantastic.

We left the meeting and walked onto glorious Main Street. We took some photos because there is nothing more beautiful than Main Street, and then we were off to Thunder Mountain. I love nighttime but hate it at the same time because of the parade. It becomes so crowded. We rode Thunder, the wildest ride in the wilderness! It was fantastic as usual. Then it was time for Samantha and Aunt Felicia to leave, so we made our way back to Main Street to the Confectionary where we got a candy apple to watch the fireworks. I love candy apples. They are just so delicious. We watched Wishes and then it was time to say goodbye. It was an EMH night at MK so we went to Tomorrowland to ride Space Mountain except there was a 90 minute wait. So we decided on the people mover instead. But on our way to the people mover we decided to take a quick ride on Buzz.

After, we wen ton the people mover delirious because of lack of sleep. Then we got stuck on the people mover, inside of Space Mountain. We got stuck right in between the two uphill tracks. Well they couldnt fix it so we had to be escorted off the ride. But thats okay because we got fastpasses!!! Guess whos not waiting in a 90-minute wait? We arent!! Needless to say, it was a great night. We got double the fastpasses because the family in front of us didnt want to use them. So we went on SM twice!

After we were pretty tired and decided to go back to the hotel. MK is SO far away from AoA. We timed it and it was like a 20 minute bus ride. I actually turned 18 on a Disney bus because we were on the bus when midnight hit. Happy birthday to me! We pulled up to the resort and went straight to showers and bed.

Hey girl! Loving the trip report. I'm working on mine now. Keep up the good work and come visit mine when its up! ;)

Why wouldn't you want to have your 18th birthday in Disney World?! (Part 1)
February 11, 2013

It's my birthday! My dream of celebrating my birthday in Disney with my best friends is finally coming true! We started the day off with some breakfast at Landscape of Flavors. Some things got confuse with our DDP because we did not know you couldn't get a "dessert" with a breakfast quick service. Other than that tiny little mishap, the food was delicious and filling. We had a lot of Disney to cover on this day! Our first stop for the day was AK! As we entered the park we noticed a large group in bright green shirts, TOUR GROUP! So, we picked up the pace to make a bee-line for Expedition Everest, it was Yeti time! We got there in perfect timing and decided to ride it twice. Our original plan was to get to AK for EMH, but that fell through when we decided to sleep in, especially after our full day yesterday.

After riding Everest twice, it was off to Dinosaur. While walking over there, we got stuck behind a big group of cheerleaders and their parents. The Nationals for High School Cheerleading was the same day so WDW was extra crowded that week. FYI, I HATE Dinosaur, yet I always manage to get on it :confused3. It's just SO scary to me. I close my eyes pretty much the entire time. AK was getting pretty crowded with the tour groups, cheerleaders, and marching band, not to mention it was an EMH day (such a rookie mistake). It was basically a recipe for disaster.

We decided to park hop over to HS for some fun. Our first stop was the Tower of Terror. It was Jenny's first time! Only Courtney, Jenny, and Mrs. Robyn, and myself rode it because the other two moms don't like dropping rides. Jenny ended up LOVING the ToT and we also happened to meet an original ToT CM.

I wasn't kidding when I said Courtney was a huge Disney fan; I kept kidding with her and said she was like a walking guide book. She informed us that there were only 4 original CMs left. These are the CMs that have been with ToT since day one. The one we met, his name was TJ and he also happened to be the CM that used to be on the park map when ToT was the cover. SO COOL! It was so cool to meet him. After ToT we grabbed some FP for RRC and headed towards Star Tours. I wanted to bring Courtney and Jenny to the Singin in the Rain scene.

They really enjoyed it and we got some cliche pictures while we were there too. I think we can all agree that Jenny's picture is the best. I feel like she should win some award for it! Then we really made our way to Star Tours. This was mine and Jenny's first time on it since they redid it. The CM that helped load us on was REALLY cute ;). I couldn't help but flirt a little. The ride ended up being really fun too. My mom is always SO funny on that ride because she screams and hollers like it's the scariest thing ever. Also, I was the Rebel Spy and I was really excited about that! After Star Tours, we decided to get a snack. I got a Mickey Premium bar and Courtney got a Mickey pretzel.

Then it was time to use our FP for RRC. I don't remember much about that time period but I think after that ride we decided to head over to MK for our ADR at CRT.

Why wouldn't you want to have your 18th birthday in Disney World?! (Part 2)

When we first got to MK we stopped for a quick photo-op in front of MK. On our way in we noticed there were FP available to meet the princesses. We had met them the night before, but this time they were with their princes! We got some FP and then noticed there was only a five minute wait to meet the boss and his girl. Clearly we took advantage of this opportunity.

After a quick visit with our favorite mouse, we decided to head towards New Fantasyland for the first time! It was so pretty! Courtney was really excited about this because her favorite princess finally had her own castle! We also noticed they had Cinderella's carriage out. The princes and carriage was all a part of the LTM for that week because it was Valentine's day week, which at MK was True Love week. After wondering around the sights of new fantasyland we decided to make our way to CRT. This was everyone's first time eating here and it was so exciting.

First we took our picture with Cinderella and then we were taken upstairs to our table; we got a window seat which was very exciting and then it was time for some food! For an appetizer, half of us got salads and the other half got the cheese sampler. I had the cheese sampler but wish I had gotten the salad. The cheese sampler was just too fancy for me. For the main course I had the beef tips an asparagus. It was pretty good; however, the best part was dessert!

Jenny and Mrs. Robyn had lemon sorbet. Courtney and I had the dessert trio, and I'm not sure what my mom and Mrs. Sherry had. Then the best dessert of all came out :good vibes.

My birthday cake!! I had no idea it was coming. My mom ordered it for me as a total surprise. It was a chocolate glass slipper filled with chocolate mousse and that was on top of while angel food cake. Then the whole thing was surrounded by fresh fruit, blueberries and strawberries. It was absolutely delicious. After all the food it was time to meet the princesses and cast our wish (because we're five...but it's fine :rotfl:) We met Snow White first, then Sleeping Beauty, then Ariel and finally Jasmine. Of course Courtney was really excited to meet Ariel. After the meet and greets, we used our magic wishing star wands to cast our wish :wizard:. It was a pretty magical moment. Overall the dinner was good, but I think I would like to try it for breakfast next time. I absolutely LOVED the experience but it wasn't my favorite meal food wise.

After dinner we made our way downstairs and Courtney took some pictures of the mosaic.

Then we got to walk through the castle. I was so excited about this because I feel like it's ALWAYS closed off! It was closed off to where people couldn't come in, only people who had been eating at CRT were allowed to use it as an exit. It took us a while to get back to the hub because we wanted to take plenty of pictures at that angle.

After a few pictures we began to make our way to TST to meet the princesses and their princes. In the words of Courtney, "We are extremelyyyyy excited!" :rotfl2:. The first couple we met was Rapunzel and Flynn. We expected a lot from them since our interaction last night was so magical! They didn't let us down, Flynn was very handsome and such a guy. He asked if Courtney could cast a spell on him with her wand (we were still holding our wands from CRT). Unfortunately, it didn't work... :(. We asked how Pascal was and he was hiding in the bushes somewhere. We also asked Flynn what was in his satchel; that was really cool. After talking we took some pictures and even got a "smolder picture! It was perfect.

Our next visitors were Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip. They weren't very lively but Prince Phillip did tell us to use our wands for good and not evil :thumbsup2.

Our third and final couple we met was Cinderella and Prince Charming. They were just so perfect and adorable. Prince Charming was such a cutie! I just wanted to pinch his cheeks.:rotfl:

We left TST and still had a full night ahead of us. As soon as we walked outside, we saw Wishes, so we decided to stop for a bit and watch. Courtney then reminded us we had two of our friends waiting to see us in Frontierland. Our friends Christina and Matt were here with Christina's family and they wanted to hang out for a little bit.

We rode BTMR with them and then went to ride PoC in Adventureland. I love that ride, especially the smell; it just smells SO good. Jenny wasn't feeling too great after that ride, so she went back to the resort with her mom. After PoC we said our goodbyes and we made our way over to the Haunted Mansion. It's such a classic. We decided to take the long way around to Tomorrowland, so as we were walking through Fantasyland we noticed Mary Poppins and Bert were out and we just had to say hello!

It was an ok experience, but we felt like 'How many chances do you get to meet Bert?' So we finally made it to Tomorrowland and went straight for SM since we had gotten some FP right before we met the princesses. While we rode SM my mom went to ride the PeopleMover. The timing was perfect because we both ended at the same time. We decided to call it a night and headed for the exit. This was honestly the best birthday ever.

It's Tea Time Chaps!!
February 12, 2013

Today was our 3rd day! We're half way through our trip. :( Today we had 2 ADR's, one at Ohana for breakfast and another at the Garden View Tea Room. We started off with breakfast and almost missed our reservation because of the lovely Disney transportation service (being sarcastic here people...it sucked on this morning). While of course we had our car, we decided we weren't going to drive it all week, mostly because we didn't have any gas. Anyway, all was well and we made it to breakfast. My older cousin Sherolynn was meeting us today. She just turned 30 and is newly married, but at the time of the trip she was still engaged. Sherolynn is also a former CM, she was a character performer and worked at the Crystal Palace. We were checked-in and given our leis. It wasn't long before our name was called and we were seated.

Ohana at the Polynesian is a family-style breakfast. Just as we were being seated the "parade" was starting and while it is mostly for little kids, we joined right in with the maraca and everything. It was SO fun! Then we came back and our food and delicious juice (I don't remember the name but it's the best juice to ever exist) was on the table. Our food consisted of waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits. While we were eating we had some characters come visit. Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch were all in their best Hawaiian attire. Lilo even taught DM how to hula.

Overall, Ohana is one of my favorite places to eat; this was my second time eating here. After breakfast we headed over to MK to explore more of New Fantasyland since we didn't really get the chance to yesterday because of our ADR at CRT. We rode the Little Mermaid ride, which was adorable. Then we went on It's a Small World! Also, we met Gaston which was such a fun interaction; he was very into himself as Gaston should be.

The Little Mermaid had a decent wait so that killed a lot of time, so it was time to head to the GF for tea. We had an ADR at the Garden View Tea Room. I don't believe you can use the DDP but it's not bad if you're paying OOP. It's about $25 a person and you get 3 courses and your choice of tea. The first course is finger sandwiches, which in our opinion were disgusting. Only 2 out of the 5 were somewhat enjoyable. The second course was biscuits and jellies which were fantastic! The third course were small desserts which was also fantastic!

After tea we went to EPCOT till close. We rode Spaceship Earth first and then headed over Innoventions where we did the Fire Safety game and the Great piggy bank adventure. Then we used our Disney Visa card to get a special picture with Minnie and Goofy. I love having the private picture because it's free and you never know what character you're gong to get, so it's a fun little surprise. Next we decided to do Agent P's showcase in Mexico, but we got bored with that so decided to ride the three Callaberos. I think the Agent P Showcase would have been more fun in a different country, but in Mexico nothing interesting really happened. We left Mexico in search of food. Most of us got a QS in Morocco but my mom and Jenny got some dinner in America.

Sherolynn left after that and we decided to head to downtown disney for some shopping. On our way out we decided to stop and get SCHOOL BREAD! It was my first time having it and I was SUPER excited!!

It was a long day and attitudes and tensions flew in the room when we got back. No worries, it was just between my mom and I, so no friendships were damaged. It was definitely time to call it a night though, which is what we did.

A Frumpy Meeting!
February 13, 2013

Today was a little weird due to last night's mishap. My mom decided to stay at the resort for a little bit that morning and she would join us later. We went to HS this morning. We got there when the park opened only to find they got rid of their cute rope drop show (or at least they didn't do it that day...). As soon as they let us into the park, Courtney and Mrs. Robyn went to audition for American Idol and Jenny, Ms. Sherry, and I went to TSM to get FP. TSM had a 10 minute wait so we decided to hop in line because Courtney was still doing AI.

After TSM, Jenny went to get a Blueberry Muffin and then we went on the Great Movie Ride. All this time, Courtney was still at AI. We found out Courtney made the first show (woohoo!) but she had to stay later to film a cute intro for the show.

While she did that, Jenny and I went shopping and then came back for Courtney's show. We found out our TSM FP were in the middle of the show, so we asked a CM what to do and she said it was no problem; they would just give us FP to use at anytime of the day. So, we went to the show and were her VIPs. Courtney didn't win, but she sang fantastic! My mom met up with us at this point; she just snuck into the AI show and was in the back. After, AI we went to Pizza Planet for lunch. We had pizza and this AMAZING cappuccino cupcake!

After we ate we went to ride RRC before using our FP at TSM. However on our way out of RRC we ran into a very famous Diser! She's kind of frumpy...any guesses???

It was Jess! Jess was there with her mom, grandma, and cousin. It was funny/awkward when we saw her because I had been hoping I was going to run into her and thank her for her YouTube videos because they inspired our trip! We saw her walking towards RRC and I looked at Courtney and she saw her too, so I made Courtney ask, "Are you Jess?" Jess said, "Yes I am! Do you read my stuff?" and then the rest is history. She was basically perfect. Everyone was SO sweet and I hope I get the chance to meet them again. It absolutely made my day!! After our practically celebrity meet and greet, we went to meet Mike and Sully because Sully is Courtney's favorite character. Then we went to the Beauty and the Beast show; it was my first time and I LOVED it! After BaB show we went to ride ToT before our ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe. We tried checking-in early but they wouldn't let us so we just went to shop some more. We also go a picture in front of the hat!

Then we headed back to the restaurant where they let us check-in. This was by far my favorite meal. The food and atmosphere was PERFECT! We had Cousin Nicole as our waitress and she was hilarious! This restaurant is only great if you get waiter/waitress who is really into character. Anyway she made the whole restaurant sing Happy Birthday to us which was REALLY funny. I had the fried chicken for dinner and I think the Boston Creme parfait (I think that is what it's called) for dessert; it was SO yummy!

While we were at dinner it poured rain outside! It was still sprinkling when we left dinner. We decided to go to MK for the night and ride some rides. We rode Buzz, Carousel of Progress, Tea Cups, Peter Pan (that was my first time), Winnie the Pooh, and Space Mountain. Our whole trip Splash Mountain was closed, it was super depressing. Since it had rained it washed the crowds out of MK which was really nice, because it allowed us to ride all of those rides.
