We live < 7 miles from the speedway. Worked with Security as part of our church's volunteer program for many years. Usually hosting the elevators as it's cooler than walking/policing the grandstands. One year I was assigned the track fence line in front of the grandstand. Wow the amount of tire debris I was pelted with was insane. And for the record, they always turn left! I can hear the engines roaring from our back patio.
