Nassau Dining Options

Hello! DH and I will be cruising on the Dream to Bahamas in a couple of weeks and we are wondering if anyone can suggest a good restaurant for lunch at Nassau. We are looking for Bahamian cuisine (no burgers, fries, or hotdogs please) and easy to get to! We are doing the Aquaventure excursion so I'm not sure what restaurant is easy to get to! Any good restaurants in Atlantis? Or should we go somewhere else? TIA!

Do you need an Atlantis pass to dine there?

We recently returned from a stay at Atlantis. The only restaurant that you would need a pass to is the one in the middle of the water activities. The best restaurants, in our opinion, are in the little shopping area to the left of the main entrance, near the casino and marina. Thee is an Italian restaurant thee called Carmine's that we really enjoyed. The next best was Johnny Rockets for us. Murray's Deli was awful and in as much as the pizzeria was decent, there is no indoor seating and they charge an automatic 15% gratuity for carry out. The locals will tell you that a favorite of theirs is a place called FishFry's. anywhere in or around Atlantis is going to be pricey. For the $ Carmine's was worth it.
