perhaps to all you princess loving kids, might want to take advantage of this new PS in order to get pass the quick filling in PS for lunch and Dinner. :)

Happen to know when the earliest time is? When we are there DCA doesn't open until 10am...thanks!

We have our PS for Princess Breakfast. Ours are at 8:30 so I know they start that early. You just have to meet a CM at the gate 10 min before your reservation.

We're planning our first DL trip. Can anyone tell me which princesses attend the character breakfast. Youngest daughter is a big Ariel fan of course. We've been to the Princess breakfast at Epcot a few times and missed her every time.

We have reservations for this - VP said it's still only on "trial" - supposed to be family style with the "typical" breakfast foods. Apparently, you CAN get into the park in some way early for this - ONLY for this though. Not too sure how that's going to work but I'll let others know after we do it!

We, as a Princess family, are totally excited about it! Since it's at Ariel's you should see her, don't think we've ever NOT seen her. If it's like the lunch and dinner - Aurora sometimes, Jasmine, Snow White, Cinderella, Mary Poppins occassionally, Belle, Alice sometimes.

Thank you. My youngest daughter will be excited when she finds out. We still haven't told any of kids about our plans for DL. We usually go to WDW so they will all be surprised and excited.

My pleasure MIDisfan - when is your trip? Make the reservations ASAP when your 60 days is here, Ariel's is booking up rapidly.

YAY!! We just figured out when we are going in October so I need to call and make this PS!! Thank YOU for posting!!

Great info! I called and the CM stated that if you get finished before the park opens at 10am that you will be escorted out until 10am!?!?! I said "that's strange, at WDW they let you roam around until the park opens". She said they "wouldn't be doing that"...anyone else get a similar response or maybe (hopefully) a different one? I figure, if you get an 8:30 ressie and are finished at 9:30 or 9:45...are they gonna escort you out for 15mins? Seems odd...

I'll be interested to hear how the first ones go starting 9/21.

Lol...yup, got the same response. Probably the lovely California liability laws and legal concerns. If you get kicked out 15 minutes early, go back through the GCH and walk down DTD to the main entrance, everything will be open by the time you get there and you can enter "properly" with all the magic.

I dont know why you would want to be there before it opens. Everything is closed, its quiet and boring :P

Lol...the same reason that's it's interesting to see BEHIND the shops of Main Street. You love the magic so much that you want MORE!!! There's no possible way for me to believe DL or DCA is boring at any time, even closed. Unless maybe if I worked there every day and got to learn the secrets and behind the scenes stuff that CMs learn.

Albort - do you smile all day everyday????

There's something about an empty or fairly empty park that intriques me. So, it might seem boring, but it's sorta like you can walk around like you own the place. ;)

backstage destroys magic... trust me, you DONT WANT to see... we dont really learn much... :|

i try to smile everyday. Though, there has been times where i feel so stressed out and tired.
Also i get mad from time to time (bad managment) but NEVER EVER would i take it out on a Guest. In fact, Guest Interaction is the only reason i stayed at my job... :)

I personally have always wanted to spend the night INSIDE DL with no one there! lol...and ride HM all night too (but that's just me.)

hahaha, every ride goes into maintance mode. prep for the next day... At night, its a whole new world and scene :P I wont get into details though...

you should book a room at PPH and see whats it is like after hours... see us walking around :P

Another reason they might not want people wandering around DCA before 10:00 is the Segway tour - at around 9:30 it's in the vicinity of Ariel's Grotto, so they probably don't want too many guests to be wandering around and getting in the way of the Segways!

What would happen if your PS is at 9am or later and you're still eating when DCA opens up at 10am? Are you allowed to just stay in the park? What about your ticket? I would think you would have to somehow get it scanned.

I asked about this when I made our ressies. The reservationist told me to go to the Grand Californian and wait at their entry gate and to let a cast member know we had ressies for Ariel's. Our ressies are for 8:40am. And yes, we were also told that we would have to go back to the main gate after we were done to have our tickets scanned, at least I think that's what she said. I was a little confused about all the go back to the main gate stuff.

i made my ressies today, and the girl said to be at the calif adv gate at 810, and to make sure we have our admission for that day. she said if you miss the group going in, you might miss your reservation!!

i reserved dates for oct.10 for breakfast, and lunch is almost booked up for that week!!
