We liked it but had never seen Hallowishes. However, we think Happily Ever After is a superior show.

I always teared up with Wishes, too. But I cry like a baby every time with HEA, in a very, very good way. The emotion is unmatched.I never failed to tear up watching Wishes.
That's the biggest problem with HEA. Wishes could be enjoyed from anywhere, even if you weren't watching, because the soundtrack was so Disney and so beautiful.it was all but impossible for me to see it. I hated it.
I loved Hallowishes!! I was excited about a new show, but nervous that it would be projection heavy and light on the rest.
I think that is my biggest issue with HEA and now the new Halloween show. To me, it used to be a firework show with some cool projections to accompany the fireworks.
The new shows are projection shows that have some fireworks to accompany the projections.
I think the projections are amazing, very well done. I just prefer fireworks over projections.

Exactly. The technology to put projections on a castle etc is impressive. But it’s still just moving pictures. I can watch moving pictures anywhere. Fireworks, on the other hand, are special and should be a show all by itself, maybe with just a few projections when time is needed to let smoke clear away.
I think that sums things up really well. I loved Wishes and really enjoy HEA. I loved Hallowishes, and enjoyed the new show. However, if you are not on MainStreet, you miss SO much of both shows. Whereas, the previous shows were very good inside or outside the park.I loved Hallowishes!! I was excited about a new show, but nervous that it would be projection heavy and light on the rest.

I would agree if HEA didn't have even more fireworks than Wishes did.I loved Hallowishes!! I was excited about a new show, but nervous that it would be projection heavy and light on the rest.

My only complaint with it is that much like HEA, if you aren't in the hub, you don't get anywhere near the full show. One would like to think that with something like that Halloween party, that wouldn't be a problem, but the unfortunate truth is that so many tickets are sold that getting in the hub area for this is just as difficult as it is for HEA. You have to stake out your spot way in advance, and stand there shoulder to shoulder in the heat.
I've seen Wishes, and Hallowishes many many times, and I have now seen Happily Ever After about 12 times, and the new Halloween fireworks once, and as far as I am concerned, both of the new shows have just as many fireworks as the old shows did. Indeed the projections are a much more integral part of the show, but I don't believe that they have taken anything away from the fireworks displays.I loved Hallowishes!!
