New World of Dreams VIP tour

Alright found some more info. This is a step above the current VIP tours. You can do a lot more with this. Get on stage for rides before or after they close, get much closer with the animals (actually pet and feed them), get into a kitchen of a signature, basically anything but operating stuff.

Normal VIP tours are more unlimited fastpass and being escorted around, this is do something unique that you’ve always wanted.

This is real interesting.
Ya that actually changed my tune a lot on this tour. I’d actually consider it, if it really gives that much freedom. Save up for a once in a lifetime thing. I’ll actually reach out about one, to see some specifics.

I fed and petted the giraffes at our local zoo a couple weeks ago. It was a $2 upcharge. Just sayin’...
I paid like $30 to pet a Rhino at AK too so not jumping on the bandwagon anytime soon. However that does sound like some cool extras. It would be cool to get up close with the new giraffes or some of the other animals.

I would so do this but only if the stars align. First of all, It would be an adult trip (sorry kids!). Second, I would need to have 2 other couples go with us to spread the cost and third, it would have to be a perfect weather day. Imagine planning everything for this, booking it and it ends up raining all day. That would suck.

get into a kitchen of a signature,

I honestly don't see the appeal here. At all. Maybe because I've been in the kitchens of/have worked in/ have family that have owned fine dining restaurants? I mean seriously, how much value does a person place on being in the kitchen of one of the signatures? Chef's tables in the kitchen or something? Yawn. I realize I'm being a Debbie downer on this thread but I find all of this baffling.

Yeah one of our zoos allows guests to feed the giraffes as well for just a couple of bucks. They also offer an up close encounter with the wallaby's & one or two others.

I think it’s more something that hasn’t been allowed before that is now possible. I doubt most that book this use it to get into a kitchen.

I’ll be the guy who points out this tour is less than 6 tickets to the Super Bowl. If you are a big enough Disney fan and you view this as a “Disney Super Bowl” then the price is comparatively reasonable. The tour experience will last longer than the football game and this includes good food. I won’t be doing this tour or going to a Super Bowl anytime soon but it’s a matter of perspective.

I wonder if I could tell them I want to ride Space Mountain with the lights on, or walk around the HM and Splash Mountain before/after park hours, maybe take me to the top hatch of Spaceship Earth or zipline from Tink's spot in the castle. Queue up the music for Wishes and some fireworks after guests are gone. Now we're talking about something I might save up 12k for.

If I ask really nicely, I wonder if they'll let me wash the dishes while I'm back there. ;)

I think lights on in space would be reasonable.

Well have they? VIP guides cost around $625 an hour already with a minimum of 6-7 hours I believe. This offers even more and I am sure people will book this for star wars.
This is true. My son works in Signature Services and help set these up for guests. He's worked with many current and former professional athletes (and others) who don't blink at $12,000.

Many if not most folks doing this, are also doing these things as well....and much more.

I'm currently planning a two-week trip to Alaska with my kids. Airfare, hotels, car rental, excursions and food for all of us is probably going to be less than half the cost of this tour

I work at a venue that has numerous celebrities / VIPs visit who could afford 12k but none of them are ever charged, their entire party is comped. So I don't think that is the target audience for this type of experience.
