Shanghai Disney Resort’s 5th Birthday Celebration Officially Begins!

Wow! It's hard to believe it's been open for 5 years already!!

I was in China adopting my daughter in 2009 when they announced Shanghai Disney and saved a newspaper from that day. Seems like yesterday!

Cannot wait to take her there someday!!

Bibo is the only one I really like. There are some others that are okay, but some are just gross. That Melon Fanta and Inca Cola are bad - possibly worse than Beverly really. I can tolerate Beverly more than most.

Still down 60% versus last year, but going up!

I know it’s not quite like what happened to Daytona after the hurricanes, but it still feels rather gloomy here.

Seriously! We’ve been coming in the international gateway entrance and avoiding the front because it’s an incredible pain to walk around.

I believe Creations Shop will be where MouseGear was and Club Cool will be where Innoventions East was.

I was worried those things were going to be obnoxious since the preview shot made them look huge, but at least in that photo, they're seem pretty unobtrusive.

Yeah, it's hard to tell how they will actually look from our vantage point on the ground. The zoomed in pictures make them look terrible though.
