news years eve

am going dec 25 to jan 1 what do the parks do for new years eve anything special . would love to start making plans inkbounc

You did not say if you are staying on site or off, or if you are a family or
single or just a couple, young or old,,So it's kinda hard to answer you.
I can speak as a couple who were there the last 2 years on New Years
and staying on property. the first year we were at EPCOT,I got to the park
early and as of 9:00 they were closing the parks to all but Disney Guests
I made ressie for lunch at the Coral Reef and dinner at LE Cellor We had
a great day and did fast pass on those rides we could. we did not get
to do test track at all that day. We stayed for all the shows,Last year we
took our son and his wife again we stayed on property, but this time we
made ressies for the Hoop-Dee -Do for the late show 9:30 it was wonderfull
we got on the boat just as the fireworks were going off all around the parks,
our captain stopped the boat in the middle of the lake and we saw
that fireworks from all over including the hotels.We got to the bus stop before the mob
arrived we got to our hotel with no trouble, Friend's of ours went to Boarkwalk
for the eveing it costs about 170.00 a person but it includes a buffet and the
shows that are there, If we go again we will do that. If you want to go to downtown or
the Pleasure Island you will have to buy tickets for those places for that day/eveing
The party's there are closed unless you have tickets. I do not go to Pleasure to
much as I am not into drinking that much, I would rather have a quiet glass of wine
in EPCOT and watch the people go by than party till I ..........
I would like to know what you are intrested in and then maybe we can steer you in the
right direction
