"Official" 2022 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Boo this!

At 2 am I got our tickets online (August 30th). A much easier process than Boo Bash last year! Our Boo Bash was a rainy disaster last year (pouring the entire night and not much was open or running) so we are excited to go to another Halloween party this year and even happier to try MNSSHP for the first time. Now fingers crossed for good weather!. For those who rented DVC points, we rented DVC points and I had no trouble getting my tickets online (I had the reservation linked in MDE).
So if that happens with the MNSSHP i go to, not everything is open/running, basically not getting the full hit you are paying for can you ask for a ticket on another night? If there is bad weather forcast for your night, can you ask for tickets to be transferred to another night?

No pixie dust here. I have a DVC guaranteed week reservation at the Riviera in October, and as a special birthday present, my wife is taking me to Galactic Starcruiser immediately before our Riviera stay. Both reservations are properly linked into my MDE. When I go online to try to buy MNSSHP tickets, the only date that it shows is during my Galactic Starcruiser reservation. It doesn't even give me the option of selecting any dates during our Riviera reservation. It is as if it finds the first reservation during the MNSSHP season, and will not include any dates for any other reservations you have during MNSSHP.

I tried calling the general ticketing number, and after a long time on hold, I spoke to a CM, and they transferred me to the DVC line. It said that the estimated wait was about an hour. After 10 minutes on hold there, I hung up. Maybe Disney needs to offer Lightning Lanes for phone calls.
“Lightning Lanes for phone calls.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn’t put it past them at this point to do it. 🙄

Hope you get your party tickets soon

I booked my tickets yesterday afternoon and they show up in MDE under the "Tickets & Memory Maker Tab". Should it also show up on the "Daily Itinerary" tab under the specific day, or does it just show up in Tickets tab. Thanks!

Mine does not show up in the itinerary tab either. Just the tickets tab. But I'm printing out the bar code and cc receipt just in case.

Just spoke with a CM after an hour plus wait in regards to the ticket cancellation policy. They are non-refundable and non transferrable but she said every ticket holds value and typically they will work with you to give you a credit from the sounds of it.
Wanted to share my experience using that credit. I canceled Boo Bash in Sept 21 due to COVID. I prepped for getting MNSSHP tickets by choosing my dates, having the confirmation code from my Boo Bash ticket, the phone call reference number from the cancelation, the card that bought the original ticket, and a gift card for any overage.

My husband called first thing yesterday morning - 7am until 8:15. After that time on hold, he had to go to work.

I called yesterday at 3:26pm. I was on hold for 25 minutes, before I got to a castember. He took all my information, worked with me for 10 minutes, then told me that I needed to talk to ticketing services. After an hour on hold, someone answered and said "Annual Passholder Services" I explained that I needed ticketing services. She tried to get the credit applied for another 15 minutes, then put me back on hold for escalated ticketing services (she used a slightly different name that I've got written down somewhere). I sat on hold until the told time of my phone call hit 3 hours, then gave up.

At 9:45pm, my husband tried again. He was on hold for 15 minutes. At that point a cast member got on the phone, confirmed he needed a specialist, and took our information for a call back. We were told the call back would come in '40 minutes to 2 hours". The call back came 20 minutes later. That was *finally* the right person to talk to. After about 20 minutes our tickets were secured and showing up in our My Disney Experience.

We bought 2 nights of MNSSHP, so there was an additional cost over the credit which we paid with a gift card. The castmember repeated that if the cost was under we would have lost that amount.

So. Yes, we did get to use the credit. However, our family spent over 4 hours on the phone to do so. Maybe we could have waited a couple of weeks, been transferred with no waits, and still gotten our dates. Maybe. I keep circling back to that 4 hours of wasted phone call time. It really makes me think that getting a credit isn't all it's cracked up to be. In the future I'll only buy a ticket if I'm 110% sure I can make it, because the credit is better than nothing but still not a great option.

My ticket icon in my plans on MDE is no longer solid showing I have tickets with my package since the 12th. Anyone else?

We got our MNSSHP tickets on the 12th for Sept 11. Whoo!! Does not show up under our itinerary but still showing under tickets. Got a pic of the bar code on my phone just in case it doesn't show up on our magic bands. Super excited!

so, my travel agent got us our tickets for august 30- 2 adults and 2 kids...i had 2 pending charges and one pending reversal....today, the tickets showed up under my tickets section in mde, but, now i have NO charges at all in my bank account at all- no pending charges, no pending reversals, no completed charges...nothing...but my tickets are still in my mde assigned to us....i reached out to my ta but haven't heard anything back...
i do have the emailed receipt from her from yesterday
should i just give it a day to see if anything happens in my bank account again? it's so weird

This is the first time we'll be doing 2 parties and I am SO excited! We are going 10/4 and 10/6. My BFF and I are dressing up as Madame Medusa and Snoops and it will be amazing! For those of you who do 2 parties, what do you recommend focusing on for the first one?

We tend to spend the first party with zero expectations. We're there to soak up the atmosphere and do anything that looks open. It really lets us plan the second party. If we knew we wanted Jack and Sally, we'd do it first thing, first party - but everything else is very fluid. :)

@monique5 you still kicking *** with these threads. I remember starting them and you made sure they are so helpful and thoughtful I’m really so happy you do these :).

I MIGHT GO to take the baby to Halloween party he would enjoy that

Yes. The weather was so bad that they automatically offered everyone a one day one park pass, but if you waited in line at guest services that night, they were offering full refunds or tickets for another night. It was our last night so we could not use the park pass or go another night, so got a refund (a big part of why we are returning this year!). The tickets technically say "no refund" so they do not have to do this - we were very appreciative that they did. I think things have to be pretty bad (like our night was). My daughter had been looking forward to that night for 2 years and was devastated - so we are pretty excited to return.
