For those interested in the dessert parties for mnsshp. It did not say if cancelable. However in my confirmation email it says cancel is 1 day prior. I booked both my dates knowing I could change my mind later,

I saw it was supposed to be a 5 day cancel when info was 1st released. I am glad that it is not true. Sometimes weather can change less than 5 days away etc.

Does anyone know of any vloggers/bloggers who will be live streaming on Friday? I have a friend going that night, and she's REALLY hoping to meet the 7 Dwarfs. I gave her information from 2019, but I was hoping to be able to email her on Friday with current instructions for meeting them. TIA!

Pretty much any of them will be if past years are any indication.

As long as she's not going to the actual first party, you'll be fine. I'm pretty sure all of the bloggers pull an all-nighter to update their party guides as quickly as possible. Who needs sleep when you need views???

Unfortunately she IS going to that party, so I'm really counting on live reports. I'm expecting the 7 Dwarfs to meet prior to 7pm, so I'm sending her to Storybook Circus by 5:30pm. I'd just love to be able to email her that she's doing the right thing!

Was also looking to book for dessert party - no slots for Oct. Still not sure if we will go for garden area or stay at terrace. Someone knows how the seats are assigned? Read somewhere the earlier you book, better table you get. Anyway, guess the atmosphere in garden area will be better. Any chance to combine it with the parade? Meaning will garden area stay as reserved spot during both parades?

Ooof, that's rough. Fingers crossed you find good data early in the day, but I don't think that Disney actually posts it when they start meets early. It's just word of mouth that let's us know which ones were so popular that they started early...

It doesn’t look like the dessert party includes seating in a reserved area for the parade anymore, does it? They also seem to have removed any mention of savory snacks besides cheese. Every time I’ve booked a dessert party (pre-pandemic) I canceled it for a dining reservation and felt I got a better deal for the money, especially the one time it rained all through Happily Ever After and I would have been sitting in the plaza garden getting soaked and paying almost $300 for my family for the privilege. Of course, the prices have gone up even more since then, and my eldest is now a Disney “adult.”

none of the dessert parties post covid have had anything savory other than cheese.

Will we know if there are new Magic Shots before the first night? We have been to Boo in 2021 and just COVID modified everything in Oct 2020 and they did not change significantly. Since we’ve had the pretty much the same set twice, I might prioritize character photos this year (especially since I’m not excited about the treats).

the last 2 dessert parties I went to had almost no savory. I attended with the expectation of feed and dessert and I was wrong. That's one of the reasons we liked the Tony's party. real food and parade seats and open bar (alcohol and non-alcohol). I went pre-covisd.

Can people who have been to dessert parties weigh in on how strict they are about the 1.5 hour check in prior to the show? I bought tickets but there’s no way we are doing that. I’d like us to grab a cupcake right before the fireworks and then have a reserved place to watch the show, but I’m a no go at mingling around Tomorrowland Terrace for 90 minutes before the escort to the Plaza. The whole point is to have “reserved” viewing so I don’t have to stay in one place for that long!

I did see someone mention that you could check in, leave, and come back—any experience with that?
