Official 2023 Halloween Horror Nights 32 (Orlando)

I just saw this on Twitter and it appears if this truly happens, the Death Eaters will be just outside of Diagon Alley and also inside the area. It does look like the set up for Death Eaters as I remember seeing similar props for them when they were in IoA.

This site also just posted a video showing the areas where they’ll be set up and there’ll be quite a few areas in Diagon Alley (they also show general construction updates to HHN).
I have mixed feelings about this - would love to see the deathe eaters but really want to experience an "empty" diagon alley & worried this will bring more crowds

Bought our Scream Early tickets. I also made a reservation at Lombard's for 3:30. Should I cancel this so we can go straight to a holding area instead?

I still think early in the evening it should be empty-ish due to most people lined up and entering houses.

They might only have the death eaters in Knockturn Alley. They might keep the other side where the stage is clear

I can't see taking up a table for close to 3 hours, but some will probably try. I wouldn't feel right about it. When they let us book as late as a 3:30/4 slot, we did stay till about 5:30, but also ordered several rounds of drinks plus full dinners and tipped extra generously.
Same But, I’d book a 4 pm in the past there. Would let the server know, nobody had an issue with it. used to be a fav of ours in the parks, after a few horrid meals (pre-covid), it’s off our rotation.

Don’t see why, unless you don’t want to eat at Lombards. As long as you are in a holding pen at 5 pm, you are good to go. Let your server know your plans.

only have heard anecdotal accounts of being summarily escorted out of park if not in the pen by that basic 5 pm time frame. Don’t quote me lol likely a leeway of a few minutes if you are worried about missing 5 pm.

It will be our first time at HHN and I have read the thread from start to finish. We are arriving Tuesday 5th evening and leaving the Wednesday 13th September.

We have Premier passes and we can only go one day so we were originally thinking of using our free night on Thurs 7th Sept, then I read in this thread about the RIP tour but there are no slots for the 7th, only the 10th at 8.30pm and a second ago that seemed to have disappeared. We probably could do the 10th but were driving back from Miami that morning so could be tired!

Does anyone know if all the RIP tour dates have been released or if theres a thread on spare places in Private RIP tours?

We could do express on the 7th but not sure if it would be busy and don't want to miss out.

Thank you

Thanks.

I've added myself to a few HHN groups. Do you happen to know the exact name of the RIP FB group and i'll search it please? x

Thanks

If it’s any consolation, this is the earliest I’ve seen (especially early in the season dates) public RIPs sell out.

Starting to think It’s either going to be really slammed this year or they dramatically cut back on the number of public tours to sell the more pricier private ones

Is there a difference between the public and private? Aside from the people you go with?

Thanks x

Private RIP can get front of the line access to each house multiple times, and the tour agenda is set by the lead guest. That's the main difference.

Private also has a different vantage point if you want to watch "rope drop," and better reserved seats at the shows. And gets free valet parking for 1 vehicle. But really the main benefit is the repeat house access. If your group fills the private to 10 guests the price is essentially the same as the public.

Facebook group is just "RIP TOURS." As always, make sure you are comfortable with anyone you give money to online.

Thank you. The FB group doesn’t come up when I search and it’s just what I need and I’ve typed RIP Tours in capitals and lower case and with dots in between the letters!

If I stay at the Hard Rock, do I need to buy an express pass for HHN or is it included with premier hotel express pass?

I saw this when googling and reading up on HHN, does anyone know if this is the case this year and if so how I would register?

The Springfield section near Fast Food Boulevard features priority access to the first two haunted houses that open each evening. Guests in this area can queue as early as 4 p.m., and are allowed into the two houses with entrances there between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. Guests are released from the area at 6 p.m., and can be the first to queue for the house nearest to the MIB Gear shop. There is a limited selection of food and drink vendors available in this location. Note that on the first two weekends, this area is restricted to annual Passholders who have registered online for an exclusive Passholder event, during which 3 houses are opened as early as 5:30 p.m.

Via email I saw invite to PH night in August recently

This sounds as tho an upgrade to the regular standby experience there

TBH it all depends how quick they clear the parks
