We were going to go in March of 2012, but have changed our dates tonight to May 11th through 20th!!

Hello! We are looking at the first week in May--I'd say there's a 90% chance that we'll go ahead and do it. The only other real possibility is the last week in April--but I've heard May is better for crowds?

Sounds like a plan! May has much better crowds depending where Easter lands. The nice thing is you still get the tail end of the flower/garden festival but with a lot less crowds. Typically March/April are spring break months.

Easter falls on April 8th next year, so all of May should have fairly low crowds -- especially the first two weeks.

It'll fill up as it gets closer to Memorial Day weekend.

Thanks for the input! I think we'll probably book in the next few weeks--we'll be staying in our timeshare offsite. This year we went during spring break, and while it was doable, even our resort was crowded, which was a tad annoying. It would be nice to be able to snag a lounge chair by the pool without having to get down there at 8 am.

Everyone is very excited, especially my sister, who had to skip this year's trip. I wonder if there's any chance of any part of the Fantasyland expansion being open by then. Probably not, but maybe I'll send some optimistic vibes that way.

Me! We just started planning today after getting our blessings from our families. My best friend and I are going to be there May 13-18. Details such as flights are still sketchy considering we haven't booked yet. We are in the savings phase.

Hopefully we'll be getting six day park hopper passes, staying at Pop Century, and be on the quick service dining plan. We are so excited! She has never been but has heard me rave about it for years.

Hi y'all!

I am SO glad I'm not the only one obsessing a year (or more) out! We are going at the end of May 2012, hoping to have breakfast with Cinderella and dinner with Pooh and Company on the 27th when my princess turns 5!

Savings account has been set up, 180-days ADR date is on both my paper calendar and my computer auto-reminders... haunting AFVC daily waiting for them to release the space-A condos for our dates... and SO geeked when Disney extended the Military tickets for another year! I have a spreadsheet of what can be booked when and how much money I'll need on that date...yeah, it's kind of psycho...

Worse, I've started collecting little trinkets, souvenirs/birthday gifts-to-be, when I run across them at yard sales... So far we have Sorceror Mickey and a set of 4 Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals, some Snow White pens, trading pins, etc... but the girls keep trying to peek in the bag, so I'm going to put them in a suitcase under my bed with a lock... at which point, it will be perfectly honest to say... "I've already started packing more than a year out!"
