I will be at the GF the 4th -15th. Never heard of the lime green Mickey Head for a quick Hi ---- sounds like a neat idea. Any of our September Group want to try it for our trips?

I'm also wanting the details on the lime green Mickey head. We'll be at AKL 9/3-9-11.

Wow, okay. It sounds like it might be a better plan to transfer luggage via our car ourselves. Bell services handling it sounds so nice in theory, but if it isn’t good in practice, I can see where it would be troublesome!

Other than the fact that you have to carry the luggage when transferring it yourself, it really is the quickest option, and you don't have to worry about bags getting delayed. Last time I had them transfer for me the bag they lost was the one with my contact lens solution, face wash, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, basically everything I actually needed when returning to the room at night to go to bed. The front desk brought me some contact lens solution, so I could take my contacts out and go to sleep, but they found my bag about 15 minutes later and I ran down bell services to pick it up.

ADR day today and got everything we wanted! I was surprised to see many openings available for Beaches and Cream all day on Thursday the 1st. I have never been able to get a reservation there in the past so this will be our first time eating there! Also booked a lunch at Skipper Canteen, late night park closing time for Oga's, and a breakfast at Boma! So excited!!

yay! Our ADR day is Tuesday. I’ve been checking this week and so far what I want has been available until mid morning. I’m most nervous about trying to get Cinderella’s castle for the 3rd which is our first day. It’s my birthday and that’s what I really want to do that day. We are also trying to get Liberty Tree Tavern, 50’s Primetime and Hollywood Brown Derby.

yay! Our ADR day is Tuesday. I’ve been checking this week and so far what I want has been available until mid morning. I’m most nervous about trying to get Cinderella’s castle for the 3rd which is our first day. It’s my birthday and that’s what I really want to do that day. We are also trying to get Liberty Tree Tavern, 50’s Primetime and Hollywood Brown Derby.

I’m at the planning stage where I’m trying to convince my adult kids and husband to wear coordinating shirts..one day we will all be soda pop shirys, another all music band shirts, and another matching home made Mickey tie dye shirts… I’m getting a wee bit of push back but imma gonna put my foot down and force them. Hahahahaha

im also watching every single you tube video on genie plus and the best way to stack them.
I’ve jumped off the deep end. Hahahahahahahahahaha

I probably will do a dessert party again and I had no trouble getting one in January.

I'm hoping to get Harmonious at Rose and Crown which I couldn't get last time. I had a regular dinner scheduled there before, but I ended up cancelling because I just wanted to go back to the hotel that day. It was miserable weather and I was exhausted both from the earlier part of the day in AK and the crowds. I've heard its not the best view of the show, but I'd probably enjoy the show a lot more sitting and not over crowded.

I’m also looking at a dessert party and have seen them be pretty consistently about a week behind other adr openings. And not updating daily but more like weekly or twice weekly? So don’t panic when they don’t pop up on your add day

I just wanted to vent to you all this am. I have had the worst Disney experience that is currently happening. My daughter and I were on the phone at 7 this am to make our dinning reservations. We are coming in a day early to the Pop and then check in to the GF the next day. I called the dinning number and my phone call went to internet services after waiting- then they transferred me to Dining and I waited again- then they said I had to talk to a Disney Specialist because of a split stay and they would call me back. They called back then the specialist said he could not make dinning reservations- that I received the wrong information. Then he transferred me to Dinning in Disney Paris France. I had to hang up and now am waiting again on hold for Dinning. This is sad treatment of guests.........................

My fan helps me more than anything. I invested in a $45.00 strong fan to wear around my neck from Amazon 2 years ago. People stopped me (including Disney employees) asking me were I got such a small but very very strong fan. It was worth the 45.00. I also carry a cooling towel in my bag which is nice too. I have fair skin, burn easily and get hot easily so these things really help me.

I'm going to look for a fan now, great idea! I do have cooling towels, just have to look for them. I hate the heat but going to tough it out in order to go along with the family, who've done the summer for years, when the kids were little. Now that my grandkids are almost adults, we can go in September this year. I'm going to give it my best shot, and take lots of afternoon breaks.

OMG....always seems to be an issue when you have to call! I avoid it whenever possible! So sorry for your upset this a.m. I hope it doesn't ruin your joy!

I could not make my reservations online because of the spilt stay. I got the following which can be difficult to get:

Thankfully, the app looks to be showing September 1, so might have to resort to that if the website doesn’t catch up

I was very sad about what happened but finally after another hour of holding got a very nice dinning cast member who helped me. I was so grateful for this person who was extremely kind. I could not make my reservations online because of the spilt stay. I got the following which can be difficult to get:
StoryBook dinning at Artists Point
Space 220 for lunch
Chef Mickeys
Ohanas
Was unable to get Toppalinas for breakfast or Beaches but I will keep watching.

Recommend setting up alerts for ADRs. Topolino popped up a few times (I missed those since i didnt see the text / email right away), but I did see it pop up once or twice while in WDW in June like a day or 2 before. Hard to get, but possible! I had one for 60+8 and ended up just keeping that (was looking for a day we weren't departing).

Space 220 Lounge never popped up in alerts or by checking myself. I saw dinner just once for the restaurant section. Glad you got that one !

Thanks! Fortunately, it caught up yesterday evening around ~9 or so and we were all set for this morning. Managed to snag Steakhouse 71, Jiko, Homecomin' and Ohana, which covered all of our top picks for this trip
