Unfortunately we will be offsite for our Dec 12-17 trip. Staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creeek. Any experience with this resort. I use a wheelchair and will probably drive to the parks as we will have my lift van.

I am curious, too.

The Hilton and the Wyndham are not the same hotel. They are across the street from each other and do not share amenities or resources. Each has their own bus, each of which has capabilities to carry folks using mobility equipment. The buses do not run late for special events, as far as I know.

I’ll be staying in an accessible (roll-in shower) room at the Hilton in a few weeks while attending a conference for folks with a particular rare disease (Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva) that’s at the Wyndham in a few weeks. I can let you know what I find. Please let me know if you have specific questions.

Whoops...sorry. Thank you, SteveMouse. I guess should remove the Hilton Bonnet Creek. I was Googleing photos and info.

I would like to see your reviews and photos, too, if you can.

I couldn't find much on Wyndham Bonnet Creek.

The following is all I found on Wyndham Bonnet Creek.

  • Very accessible lobby (has some thick carpeting at some parts) and accessible restaurants.
  • Easy level walking path around a lake which includes some slight ramps.
  • Only one of the pools had an ADA lift.
  • Slight issue with the balcony as it has a step-down.
  • Beds height is good and is easy to transfer to.
  • The rooms are spacious.
UCF ROSEN COLLEGE STUDENT TRAVEL TIPS: Nice location in regards to the theme parks, and there is a paid shuttle to and from them that is accessible. The restaurants are easily accessible, as are most of the bars except for the one near the pool because of it’s high tops. There’s a nice path around the lake that’s wide and long for walks at night that is completely level with only small inclines at points. The rooms are also quite spacious and the beds were easy to transfer into, but the balcony was harder to reach because there is a step-down.

The Wyndham is pretty easily navigable for mobility equipment users, with easy access to elevators. The staff is very cognizant of wheelchair users.

The bus to the parks is greyhound-like and uses a lift to accommodate mobility equipment.

Rooms met the needs of multiple users with significant disabilities.

There is a family restroom on the ground level- the same floor as bus transportstion.

We did note that the button for the door on the exterior side at the bus pickup did not always work- we reported it to staff.

The only mobiiity challenge at WBC is that sometimes it can be INCREDIBLY crowded
