OKW for T-Giving!

We are on our way Nov 20th! 2BR at OKW. Naturally we are excited to be spending a T-Giving at WDW! (We arrived at OKW on New Years Day a couple years ago)

We decided on Chef Mickey's for dinner. Then we want to watch Wishes, so my question is: Is the Observation area to watch it on the same floor as Chef Mickey's? We hesitate to go to MK because we hear it is nutso on Thanksgiving night. I think our seating is at 5pm?

Ideas?

We are at the BWV but we will go to the MK on Thanksgiving. We went last year on Christmas. We got there early and left after lunch to relax back at the resort.
