Palo and a Child

We would like to book a Palo dinner on our 7-night cruise. We will have our 5yr old granddaughter with us. Can she go to the Oceaneers club while we have dinner or is there babysitting service available?

Yes, she can definitely go to either of the kids clubs while you enjoy your meal ay Palo.

DCL doesn't have a babysitting service. The Oceaneer's club is for kids 3-12 yrs old. My dd did her first cruise at 6 yrs old and loved the Oceaneer's Club. Since you are doing a 7 night cruise, they will most likely do Pluto's PJ party one of the nights at the club. My dd always loved going to it on our cruises. Pluto comes to the club to see the kids. They get a Pluto pillowcase to keep, watch videos, dance, etc. The kids can wear their pjs if they want. Sometimes they would do it on a couple of nights, sometimes just one night. The navigator will tell when it is(check when you get on the ship). If she's hesitant about going to the club, tell the cms there that you are going to be at Palo and they will do their best to make sure she has a good time while you enjoy your meal.

There is no individual babysitter onboard, but the Oceaneers Club/Lab will be open during your dinner time. Last I heard, the Club/Lab was not serving food -- you can verify that once you're onboard. If that's the case, you can get your granddaughter food from the quick-service places on the pool deck or from room service before you go to Palo.

As lklgoodman mentioned, when you drop her off, you should mention to the Club/Lab cast member that you are going to Palo. If she shows an inclination to leave, they will try to keep her engaged for at least the duration of your meal.
