People 💩 In Line At WDW

We don't necessarily know that they aren't. Dinsey tends to like to keep this kind of thing as quiet as possible.

I think this is precisely why they wouldn't go to the police. Arrests are public record. If 2 or 3 people are arrested every few days for this, THAT would make the news. Until this article came out, Disney probably thought they could keep it quiet, keep it an internal secret. :ssst:

I won’t bother telling you with the homeless woman who appeared to be a mental patient who was recently released from the hospital down the street was doing in our office bathroom which was a public bathroom but she was naked and she was taking up the whole bathroom and all the sinks we had to call the police it wasn’t a whole lot they could do other than just remove her from our public bathrooms and put her back out on the street but a lot of times in areas I’m not seeing DISNEY but a lot of areas where there are a lot of homeless people or around hospitals or they just dumb people out in the streets these homeless people cannot get into buildings to use the bathrooms so they will just go to the bathroom wherever they can go so if they can get into a building but they can’t get into a bathroom they just go wherever they can go it’s a big issue around here especially in the city because there’s so many homeless people but yes going in the middle of stores and dressing rooms and just any inappropriate place it’s just totally uncalled for and then the other thing people don’t consider was also in areas where there’s a high volume of people using drugs you also run into this issue - and again these are people not in their right mind who are doing very inappropriate things

Guests Pooping in Disney Queues, List of Jollywood Nights Attractions, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Merch Locations, Candy Cane Milkshake, & More

That’s alot of places!

Last month there was a CM discussion about this on reddit, It’s not very common but does happen. FoP was the first time I heard of it, then they added a bathroom to the queue. ROTR was built with a bathroom queue from day 1. Many times it is people letting their kids doo this.

I have to say that I was amazed at DL. The bathrioom attendants were often going into each stall as people exited and then calling all clear for next in line. Maybe a way to help guests be more thoughtful about how they leave it.

What in the heck is wrong with people?!
This literally upsets me :headache:

A lady told me about this yesterday and I very quickly said “no way” and then this article shows up on Facebook today (I follow Walt Disney World News).

I just can’t wrap my brain around how people can do this. I have no words :sad2:
I read that and I just can't believe it. I have been in some damned long lines and that has never happened. If someone took a squat in line people would have a fit..I need proof.

I'm wondering how people do this, and not get caught/called out for such disgusting behavior. If someone was pooping in line near me--I'd notice. And say something. If not to them, then to the next CM I saw. Partly to shame the offender, but also so that the mess could be cleaned up before it spread (people potentially walking through it) or stunk up the place.

I mean, seriously--if there's a line, then there are people in it. Do they not notice the bare behind, the squatting, the noise, the smell?

When Walt was just finishing up Disneyland for opening, they had to choose between making the water fountains work or the toilets. Walt chose the restrooms and famously said, "People can buy Pepsi-Cola, but they can’t pee in the street." Apparantly they not only can, but poop too! This is a far cry from the old complaints of a diaper being changed on a picnic table. What kinds of people do this? You can leave the line - it's okay. People are understanding for the most part. Just ask a CM and they can assist you. There is just no call for it!
What Walt didn't realize was that Pepsi and pee are not much different. Today, in the wake of the Cola Wars (myself a veteran), Disneyland is all about Coke.

As for the thread topic, imagine paying all the money involved with a Disney park experience, and you have to witness that. Are these folks even cleaning up after themselves? There's the added risk of having to step in that. Or worse, trip and fall via one pile and into another!

That website has this quote from a cast member about the Indiana Jones attraction, aka Temple of Poop:
"There’s a pair of individual-use restrooms just backstage from the north unload. It was mainly for cast members, but guests could and did use it. A woman who did not know this burst into the control room for the attraction and deposited her gift right there. … It must have been challenging for the ride operator to stay at their post in there before it was all cleaned up!"

Disney could easily help to prevent this situation by adding signage about restroom availability to several spots in the long queues, especially by adding a text feature for those who are in queues and need to get to a restroom. If they posted waypoint numbers up high on the walls of the queue, guests could text their location to a central number which would relay the request to the attraction, and a CM could come and escort them to the restroom. (I've always thought that the waypoint numbers would be a good idea for emergencies in any case.)

I do think that the majority of these incidents probably involve small children whose parents are allowing it, but it would be really helpful if there was signage around the parks, and info on the maps, that notifies parents that they will not lose their place in line if they step out to take a child to a restroom.

I have to know, was that spelling intentional, or is it just an awesome typo? 😂
Lol pun intended.

In Sept guests and CM were discussing what happened at an EP play area that day. A dad following their toddler through the splash pad picking up the pieces child left behind. No. Remove your child! Go to the restroom. They had to close it down.

I cannot even imagine people relieving themselves in dressing rooms let alone in the middle of the store and there’s bathrooms close by
I am right there with you. One of my DD worked at Nordstrom, a somewhat rather high end store and she would come home with stories like this. 😱

On a past trip I saw a teen walk by with a t-shirt that had a jumping-for-joy stick figure and the words "I Pooped At Disney!" silly me I thought it meant in one of the restrooms...
