I'm done with people with this type of thinking. Hopefully more and more people are also coming to this conclusion.

You know I typed a reply but honestly with the attitude I see prevalent why even bother. This is the problem neither side will listen, neither side will adjust. Head meet cement.

That much is true. But both sides do not have mainstream leadership that encourages the "ridiculous fringe."

And this is it, in a nutshell. Perfectly stated and worth repeating. Name on leader from the other side who is encouraging violence. All they do is encourage change through voting.

You got this white nationalist (who, by the way, is accused of beating his pregnant wife) out in the open saying stuff like “The ideal of a white ethno-state — and it is an ideal — is something that I think we should think about in the sense of what could come after America."

And honestly, even as a Christian ("Turn the other cheek"), I have a hard time saying "It's not ok to punch Richard Spencer". I don't think he should be blown up with a pipe bomb, but maybe, I dunno, jail? If I were his (soon to be ex) wife's father, I would punch him. A couple of times.
