We made our first Disney trip in many years this past October. We stayed at CSR and while we really enjoyed it and it is difficult to break the attachment, I think we are planning to go with one of the Port Orleans resorts in the Summer of 2020.
We appreciated the refurbished rooms at CSR but not the construction. We did find the CSR buses were really good for getting to the parks.
The Port Orleans resorts were our first choice but were booked. This time we are planning well in advance.
If we go Summer 2020 will both resorts be complete as far as refurbishments and construction?
Will walking be less at both as compared to CSR? We were in the Ranchos and it was a bit of a hike to the lobby area. We like the look of POFQ but the amenities of POR
We did take the boat from Riverside to Disney Springs. It seemed like a very long bus route for those. We didn't get to see much of the actual resorts or walk around them.
