post/ mail necessaries prior to arrival

A couple of questions about this process
I understand I will use the resorts address but then just put my name on it or add my confirmation number ? Because I won't know my room number until after check in. And where will this mail be held at for me to pick up on arrival ?

Most likely in the office behind the front desk.
