More Raglan Road

Thanks for posting the pictures. We plan on eating there on our next trip but not sure what to get...it all looks so good! How was the It's Not Bleedin Chowder? Were you on the dining plan? I was wondering if they would let you get a starter for two if you shared.

I did not try the Chowder because I don't like seafood but everyone who tried it said it was really good. Not alot of shrimp but very tasty. There were 10 of us & we were not on the Dining Plan, we shared appetizers & even some shared meals. The Smokie City & Heaven on Earth were wonderful. Like I said I don't like seafood but the Smokie City was sooooo good. I hope to go back on my next trip. This place is noisy at night but lots of fun.

well, i've seen the first 20 and the last 35 pages; this is going to take me some time to go thru; and get over! i am looking before bedtime so hopefully i will only dream of this food and only gain virtual weight; we arent' going until sept; is the raglan on the dining plan? please say yes...

Yes :thumbsup2

femail, your wish is granted. We are planning on eating at Raglan Road after going to La Nouba. Can't wait. I hear they have live entertainment as well.

Slightly Goofy

Downtown Disney, is where Raglan Road is. I have ressy's on Wed. there, woo hoo

Thanks to all you wonderful DISers and your pictures and reviews, I was able to try 5 new restaurants this trip: Alfredo's, Sci-Fi, Brown Derby, Chef Mickey's, and California Grill, plus a few extra CS/to go places. So I'm happy to return the favor and help y'all with planning. While my pictures from Sci-Fi didn't turn out (too dark), here's the major food highlights of my trip:

What: 4 Cheese Oven-Fired Flatbread with Sweet Basil
Where: California Grill, Contemporary Resort

CaliGrill_4cheeseflatbread2.jpg

What: Breakfast plates; pictured is Mickey waffles, pancakes, biscuit, small blueberry muffin, small orange (and very sugary! :crazy2: ) muffin, mandarin oranges, watermelon, scambled eggs with cheese, hash browns with cheese and bacon (the only thing I found unappetizing, probably because it was cold)
Where: Chef Mickey's Breakfast Buffet, Contemporary resort

ChefMickeys_breakfastplate2.jpg

What: Coconut shrimp appetizer with fruit and some kind of greens
Where: Hollywood Brown Derby, MGM

HBD_coconutshrimp2.jpg

What: Cobb salad with chicken
Where: Hollywood Brown Derby, MGM

HBD_cobbsalad2.jpg

What: Grapefruit cake
Where: Hollywood Brown Derby, MGM

HBD_grapefruitcake3.jpg

What: Ham and jarlsberg cheese open-faced sandwich... Sorry, I was starving and forgot to take a picture beforehand! :rotfl2: And see the white stuff under the lettuce? That's butter. Loads and loads of butter. Consider yourselves warned. :faint:
Where: Kringla Bakery, Norway, Epcot

Kringla_openfacedhamandjarlsburgsan.jpg

What: Strawberry cheesecake
Where: Kringla Bakery, Norway, Epcot

Kringla_strawberrycheesecake2.jpg

What: School bread. After the sandwich, I was afraid the custard on top was actually butter. :rotfl2:
Where: Kringla Bakery, Norway, Epcot

Kringla_schoolbread2.jpg

What: Dole Whip
Where: Aloha Isle, Adventureland, Magic Kingdom

dolewhip2.jpg

What: French onion soup and roll
Where: Chefs de France, France, Epcot

What: Close up of French onion soup :lmao:
Where: Chefs de France, France, Epcot

What: Passport to Paradise Pizza
Where: Rainforest Cafe, Animal Kingdom

What: Caprese sandwich (Mozzarella, tomatoes, EVOO)
Where: Earl of Sandwich, Downtown Disney: Marketplace (taken at the tables outside; I actually held a small flashlight over it and the smoothie below, but it's still kind of dark, LOL)

EarlofSandwich_Caprese2.jpg

What: Tropical smoothie

And lastly...

What: Fettuccine Alfredo
Where: Alfredo's, Italy, Epcot

Happy drooling and/or planning, folks! :wizard:

This is NOT the thread to look at, when you are dieting! :rotfl: It all looks soo good!

thanks to all who posted their food pics!!! It made planning soooo much easier. DH would NOT take pics of food this past week - and we were too busy cutting up kid food and such to take the extra time. Maybe on the next trip!!!!

Believe it or not, this is the size of a pretzel, something I consider to be just a snack...but this could pass for a meal! We got this at a cart outside of the Imagination Pavillion...and may I recommend nacho cheese to dip your pretzel in? It tastes soooo good!

Thanks so much for posting that list! Now, how do I find a specific page number without sifting through the thread, there has to be an easier way??

I think someone tried to explain this before, but it made no sense to me at first. I did figure it out though. When I first come into this thread, this doesn't work, but just go to another page, like one down from the page you are on. Look up at your web address bar and you should see something like this...

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=773269&page=203&pp=15

See where is says page=203? Just change that in the web address to the page you want, just change the number and then enter and you go right there.

Like I said, when I first come onto thread, the web address looks different and has only the post number on it, not the page number, so I just go to a different page and it changes.

The one day last week I didn't wear my Crocs at WDW, I got blisters (with Keens, $95). My $30 Crocs saved me! And we walked and walked and walked! I am sooooooooo totally in love with my butter Caymans!
