Question for Len-Hidden Mickeys Touring Plan

Hi Len,
We're not using your book this year . DH wants to search for Hidden Mickeys. We've got the book by Steve Barrett and there is a scavenger hunt for each park which is basically a hidden Mickey touring plan. He says that following this plan will minimize wait time in addition to finding Hidden Mickeys. I just wondered whether you are familiar with this book and/or his scavenger hunt and it's success as a touring plan. I posted this question here on the boards but couldn't find anybody who has actually followed the Hidden Mickey book.

Len, or anybody else who's used this book, how did the scavenger hunt(plan) work?

I met Dr. Barrett at Mousefest last year. He's a nice guy, and obviously bright. I've not used his touring plans yet, but he's probably ordered the clues to cut down on wait times, subject to certain assumptions such as getting to the park at opening, etc.

Dr. Barrett isn't (to the best of my knowledge) using any sort of scheduling software for his touring plans, so I'm not sure the wait times are "minimized," unless the touring plan has only a handful of attractions. That being said, you'll have a ball anyway - lots of folks say it's an entertaining read. I'll have to catch up with Dr. B. at the next Mousefest and pester him for a copy.

I love Dr. Barrett's book! It is awesome! He also wrote a book titled "Hassel-Free Walt Disney World" - and uses pretty much the same touring plan in both! It's a good plan - and it definitely helps save time! You can also just use the book to help you find HMs - Almost all of the HMs that I've found are because of the book!
