Reasons why the DVC member site is bad

OK... I maybe missing it but you would think under news on the DVC member site they would say something about the new CA DVC. If they want people to use that site, it should appear their first. Am I wrong here?

most of the poster here are from the East of the Mississippi - who aren't that interested in a DVC in Ca.

Now we do have some wonderfully posters from West of the Mississippi - just not as many as East.

I'm not even looking for it, primarily because I, too, think that the site is bad. Generally, it is easier to get DVC information elsewhere. The member site is just too much of a hassle.

It's on the home page, before you log in.

It's a button labeled 'Disney Vacation Club announces westward expansion', under the general heading 'See our newest resorts'.

I get my DVC info from the DIS boards...

When I went to the DVC site, I too couldn't find anything about the GCV expansion. The only way I go tto the full official press release was through a link posted by DVC Mike.

I wasn't seeing it, either, because I had the log-in page saved as a link, which is not the home page.
