We have stayed there 3 times. We will never go back.
The first time was awesome. A well-maintained unit, fun amenities. We never had to deal with maintenance or the front desk We thought we had found our new go-to
Second time was okay. The unit showed some wear and tear. A few light bulbs were out. Called maintenance to replace (the one in the WC was out, otherwise we would have dealt with a few dark lamps). Lots of on hold time and promises. Picked up bulbs at Publix and replaced them ourselves.
Third time: awful. We rented a big house with a heated pool (paid for heat in advance). When we arrived, the house wasn't ready. 3 hours later, house not ready. At 8pm, we finally got in. It wasn't clean, doors wouldn't close all the way. Stained furniture, lots of wear and tear on tables. Think early college apartment.
The worst part was the pool: the pump wasn't working, it was DIRTY, and the water was icy cold. My husband found the pump with a missing connector -- the pump wasn't attached to the pool's pluming. After a LONG hold, they sent out maintenance who to their credit, looked genuinely surprised as they denied any knowledge of the missing connector. But they did clean it. Since it was late on Saturday, and the pool company "would not come out" on a Sunday. We'd have to wait until Monday at the earliest to get the pool up and running. They offered to move us (if we paid extra) or refund us for the pool heat + a $100 credit. We took the refund. We never got the credit.
On Tuesday, the pool was fixed. And they turned the heat on. And when I say on, it was ON. We could have boiled corn in it. A call to maintenance, a long hold, and a visit later, they turned off the heat. Offered a $500 refund. We had $250 credited back, and had to fight to get the other $250 back.
It's an aging, poorly-managed resort. When the resort was new, it was really nice. Not so much anymore.
