Rider strategy for 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant?

We are heading to WDW in October and I'm wondering how to handle riding (esp FP+ rides) with height requirements. For example, my 2 kids can ride KRR at AK or SDMT but the infant cannot. I assume that 2 kids can ride KRR with 1 adult, but I know SDMT sits only 2 across. Will the cast members let my DH ride with 1 kid, then when he gets back, I can ride with the other kid and hand the infant off to DH? Thanks.

Oh and you need to get rider swap passes. Available on all height restricted rides. Show baby at the fp line entrance and they'll give you a rider swap good for up to 3 people to come back and ride without waiting

We were in the same situation last trip! My youngest was 2 and not tall enough for most things. If we had FP we simply split up. One of us with one kid, while the other one waited in a gift shop, or just outside the ride etc, than when they got back, we swapped. For rides with no FP, we again went one adult/one child & asked for a rider swap. It's essentially a ticket to enter the FP line. Most CM's will want to see the child and the parent that are waiting to go next. Once you ride, hand the ticket to the other parent & they head up to the FP line. They will take it from you there. HTH!

Because you're using Rider Swap, book FP for one adult and one or two of the kids. With the Rider Swap pass, one adult and both older kids can ride on the swap.

You can FP more height restricted rides by splitting the adult FPs and the two older kids'.

So I can get a FP+ for just 1 adult and 1 kid for SDMT, and then the other adult and other kid can ride it using Rider Swap pass? (And do the same thing with other height-restricted rides?)

Yes, except 1 adult and both kids can ride, so 1 child can ride twice
