Rider Swap?

Does Universal offer rider swap for rides that not all the kids can or want to ride? Thanks!

Yes. They don't discriminate against swappers.

The ride swap rooms are at the emark/disembark area of each ride. You all go through the queue together and then swap at the end of the queue. It isn't like at Disney where only those who are riding go through the queue.

We just got back and had a great experience with child swap at Universal. There are some really neat queues there, so it was nice that the kids got to see those even though they weren't riding. A lot of the swap rooms even have movies of some sort playing for the kids while they wait.

It was also a great way to avoid having to use lockers. There are a number of rides where the universal staff stands at the entry to the line and makes everyone put their loose articles in lockers. You are exempt from it because if you are using rider swap, you have somebody to hold your stuff while you ride.

And if a queue is too scary for the kids, just tell them at the entrance to the ride and they'll let the non-riders go in the exit to avoid the line.

Which rides have queues that would likely be too scary for an average 2 year old?

Mummy and Kong off the top of my head. Mummy is very dark and Kong is just scary.
