First time rider this weekend. Both times had to wait 1.5 hours to get to pre-show. First time because ride didn't open until noon and everything was backed up and second time because it broke down just as we were about to go to Rey room (cast members were super nice and we chatted to about 5 of them about everything Star Wars and being a cast member and the ROTR ride, etc, ended up blessing us with 3 any ride FP due to sticking out the wait and being nice). I digress. I did not read spoilers in advance so had no idea what we were in for
First time through on Saturday, I was completely underwhelmed and overwhelmed after I got off. I had no idea what I just did, saw or experienced. It was 'different' but also I thought just boring as there was a ton of empty rooms with not a lot of action. We were in the transport that starts in the back of the room after breakout.
Second time, I was much more prepared and really was able to look around and loved it. This time we were in the transport that is in the front of the breakout room. I understood the concept and the was pretty wow'd by how unique it was.
I agree with one of the other posters (and my star wars loving son as well) that Kylo looks really weird in the window explosion room. My son thought his feet were odd and I thought he looks stiff. But otherwise, some super cool effects.
I'm now a fan and cannot wait to ride it again to be able to see even more I missed (ie. I don't remember seeing Finn at AT AT room).
Also wondered a few times out loud and in my head, if the cast members on this ride have any ill-effects after being 'mean' in character all day for the interrogation roles ie. The Stanford Prison experiment -- although probably not to that extreme...
