We submitted to ROFR on 4/10. And with people hearing back that had submitted 4/10, 4/11, 4/14 etc, I reached out to the broker, just to check in. This was his response:

"Thank you for reaching out!

You are spot on that Disney has been responding to files submitted on and around the same time, but we have not received their decision on your purchase just yet. We expect to hear from them tomorrow, if not later today, and will let you know as soon as we do.

Have a terrific rest of your Thursday, and we look forward to sharing good news soon!"

*So for those still waiting to hear back, from around the same time, you are not alone! But sounds like it should be soon!

My takeaways: 47 resales recorded, of which 16 were financed by Monera Financial or Vacation Club Loans , even some of the smaller ones. Average is $111.65 pp, but if you look at just from 100-200 pts, the average is $100.49 pp.

Oh, and in this same period, there were 7 direct sales of SSR. 5 of these were financed through DVD.

This is interesting to me. I've always been curious about cash vs financing with direct vs resale. Thanks for including that info.

Thanks for posting this... expecting mine to pass ROFR soon. I'm at the high end for a 200 pointer... but not too bad! Looking forward to getting those points!

small sample size to be sure, and of course the other thing not captured is what amount of buyers might finance via a line of credit or other bank loan. but I found it interesting too!

I think some people list with multiple sites. There’s not really a downside to doing so if you are selling for good and don’t care about trashing your reputation with the brokers. May be what happened here.

Listing with multiple sites is crafty as heck! (in an evil genius way!)

After stalking this thread for a while, I can finally join in! We were NOT in the marked for more points. We actually had just agreed that we had enough. And yet, I couldn't help but add on at a Crescent Lake resort. I'm really looking forward to booking BWV for Wine and Dine next year without having to worry about what will be available at 7 months!

Me too!! I have BLT points and I just don't find that resort to be convenient for Food and Wine. I know there is the monorail, but with having to transfer at the TTC, and then having to walk all the way to the front of the park at the end of a long day eating around the world, it seems like the Bataan Death March. Just put an offer in for resale points at BWV. Fingers crossed we (and you) pass ROFR.

Our two other contracts are also at BLT, which I LOVE for easy of access to MK with my boys, and Marathon Weekend. But when we went for Wine and Dine in 2021, we stayed at BCV and loved the ability to walk over to HS and Epcot.
