We live in FL 2 hours from Disney and love Vero Beach. I know dealing with the 7 month availability might be difficult, but we can frequently travel on short notice and short stays. Super excited. Should have bought long ago.

We decided to stick with 1 UY for both WDW and DLR because I can definitely see us wanting to combine them some years. I just didn't want the hassle of more than one UY. I think this will be better for me so I don't try to purchase too many contracts. Ha!

I’m the seller on this one. I originally had resale VGC in an Oct UY but bought direct VGC points in my Sep UY in January, so selling my Oct UY resale points. I’ll be down to 1 UY again after this!

Even the Use Year AT THAT MOMENT IN TIME changes the value too... if there a ton of contracts that day in the same UY (or none); or for example, we just passed the use year and now Direct is no longer including some points for that one (so Direct values are down and loaded contracts Resale value is up?) ... there are a lot of variables.

Frankly, someone saying, we need this purchased and closed so we can book the dang vacation has a $ value too ;)

Having just passed rofr a couple days ago, anyone have experience on next steps and timeline to share. The responses I’ve been reading have varied in length of time a great deal.

The thread you're looking for is called closing time. That'll give you an idea of how long you can expect before your points are loaded and are given an account if you're not already a member.
 
I wasn’t going to post, but I am 27 days into waiting on ROFR and seeing contracts for my same location passing that were submitted after mine. Do you think something is wrong?

They don't always get approved first come first served. One of the many frustrating parts of ROFR. No reason to think anything is wrong, IMO. But if it goes past 30 days I would reach out to your broker just in case.
