Dear ROFR,

I hope you are having a great start to your New Year. I know that you are very busy, but it would really mean a lot if you could give me a thumbs up or thumbs down on my VGC contract heading into a 3-day weekend.

Sincerely,
AstroBlasters

Sorry that you are also dealing with that pain. I was in your shoes not too long ago. I think the ROFR lady want's to go for some VGC but keeps on getting told no. She waited about 40 days on our first one. I would still give you 95% odds you will be fine :)

Recently with fidelity we agreed to purchase a subsidised dues vero, only noticed it wasn’t subsidised when the closing docs appeared after rofr, no apology - before that we agreed to purchase a BCV only for it to magically change to BWV - no apology. Both occasions they even argued with me but I had screen shots!
Yesterday made an offer, no response - chased today, again no response. All different agents (not Bonnie btw). Pretty poor effort. Cheaper contracts but harsher penalty for pulling out and more hassle!
Well don't be shy, say who they were so others can avoid the poor experiences you had :tilt:

I’ve only been waiting a couple of day and I’m already stir crazy… any chance it will pass on Monday? 😳

Thank you for the kids words.

The AUL contracts flew through in 3 weeks or less so it is helpful to know that I need to reset my expectations on the VGC.

By any chance does VGC get through ROFR any quicker since Disney pretty much just passes on almost all of it?

Per the previous poster, his VGC contract took 40 days to clear ROFR.

I have been waiting 3 weeks (not including holidays) as of today.

Our contracts took 40 and like 33 days last year so not super fast.

Just looked them up on the Closing Time thread.

I just did what you suggested… there was one I found that was kind of long, but it seems like most of them were like less than three weeks to pass ROFR

Unfortunately not. They don't seem motivated to move VGC any quicker, and not the other resorts that they never buy back either.

Would anyone mind saying who they believe are the best agents at Fid?
It’s just my first resale purchase and I’m still in the ROFR phase but Cindy has been great. Extremely responsive (I don’t think she’s taken longer than 5 min to respond to anything). Offer was accepted in 5 min and paperwork sent over and finished signing process that day. Got email notification contract was sent for ROFR next day. Evy is the backend contract specialist for me. Not responsive at all but seemed to process the contract and submit to ROFR quickly.
