Room Tours @ SSR?

Hi, all!

I will be in WDW this Saturday and would like to tour the model rooms for SSR and AKV. I have sat through DVC's sales presentation about 2 years ago and do not want to again...I just want to retour the SSR rooms and see the new AKV ones to make up our mind about a probable upcoming purchase.

How does this work? I don't need to make an appointment, do I? Can we just stroll into the rooms? Do we need a guide to accompany us?

Thanks a lot for your expertise!

You can certainly stop in and your Guide might just be available to take you through. If not, they will have another cast member (sometimes a Guide, sometimes not) take you through the models. Actually I have done that myself, before becoming a DVC owner.

The reason for this is that the Guides do work on commission, so if yours is available, they will have him take you through and answer any questions you may have. Don't have to sit through a whole presentation, however.

To see the SSR models you'll need to stop by the DVC Sales Center and ask for an escort, whether or not it's your guide depends on how busy they are. As for the AKV models, you can simply stop by the Theater at SSR and view them yourself. They'll have an attendant sitting there in the lobby to answer any questions you have. No sales presentation required to view either set of models.
