We'll be on the Magic in February and thinking about booking this for my wife and son who will have just turned 6. We're silver so we get to book a few days before our friends who will be joining us. Do you think it was worth the price? If we book before our friends will they still be able to get a spot? Do Dad's go to this? My kid loves autographs so thinking it's a slam dunk but just curious if anyone really thinks we should skip it. Thanks!
:yay::yay::yay:

Our DD did it earlier this year and she had the best time. A little expensive but with all the little gifts and the quality one on one princess time, we felt like it was worth it. She still talks about it and wants to do it again.

I'm still going back and forth. Our son, who will be turning 7 on the cruise, loves tea parties and dressing up. But the swag for boys doesn't come nearly as close to making up for the cost as what the girls receive.

I am the EXACT same with my DS. He is 4, I went ahead and booked it because he has the most adorable prince charming costume and loves tea parties... but just as you said the cost for the "swag" the boys get - is not really comparable to what the girls get. Our cruise is about 20 days out and I'm thinking I may cancel that activity and spend the money in the gift shop for him.

My booking window opens tonight. Is that midnight EST? I'm in Colorado and don't want to miss it. Thanks!

I went back and forth on it and in the end I'm glad we did it. You do get a lot of stuff:
- you get a nice sized cinderella doll (they have something for boys too)
- you get charm bracelets
- charm necklace
- a jewelry box
- a nice autograph book
- and big disney pen. The gifts probably retail, emphasis on "retail", for about $100 all together so you're paying for $100 additional to that for the "experience".
The experience comes with:
- each prince or princess is announced and greeted at the entrance with a tiara and escorted to their table
- each princess drops a a charm at each table
- you get a performance of songs from the favorite movies
- the grand presentation of tea (apple juice, real tea choices for parents)
- the tiered tea platter with goodies (like what would be served at a high tea event)
- It also comes with a professional photo of your kids and all of the princesses and the photo is bound in a nice frame (delivered to your stateroom)

It's the most expensive 45 min of my life but worth it to do once. My girls still talk about it

Just did it for a boy and boys get a Sailor Duffy bear, and drawstring cinch sack, Disney pins (instead of charms), an autograph book with big pen, a sword and shield. Everything else was the same. We did get tea for our DS because he likes & regularly drinks decaf tea, we did request it though.

I loved the picture at the end. And despite being very expensive, compared to the WDW (GF) version (perfectly perfect princess tea party), the one on DCL is a good value. The ship in-room invitation are great, the food is better on the ship's version, and the picture seals the deal.

On our upcoming cruise (next week) I booked the Royal Court Tea for my 5 year old daughter. For my 3 year old son I couldn't pull the trigger since I think he would have gotten bored. So what I did for my son was book him the Royal Knight Package at BBB for $19.99. It comes with hair styling and a sword and shield.
