Has anyone stayed at a particularly nice area/room at SSR? Trying to come up with someone room choices for our stay.

Depends on what you want out of your stay. Grand Stand is the first bus stop in the resort. Congress Park is closest to Disney Springs. The Springs is closest to the main lobby. The resort pools vary across the resort as well. Be sure to check out the DVC thread for SSR as well. Have a great trip.

We've stayed at Congress Park twice. The quiet pool there is very nice, but the view can vary. This last time we stayed at Grandstand and requested a fairway view which we were given. It was extremely nice and the local pool was good for our young DGC. It was also an easy walk to the carriage house where the food and gift shop are. And is the first bus stop which I liked a lot.
