Scuttle cove

Does anyone know if the parents can stay with their child when they play in scuttle cove on castaway cay. Our 6 year wants to go there but does not want us to leave.

No, Scuttles Cove is the equivalent to secured programming in the Club/Lab onboard the ship. No adults. There is plenty to do on Castaway Cay with your child if he/she doesn't want to be dropped off.

Is there any shade at Scuttles Cove or are the kids always in the sun there?

There are a lot of shady areas from trees & tarps/tents. They will not apply sunscreen.

They do have shaded areas. I recommend a sun hat though.

Thanks. My kids don't keep on sun hats but I'm obsessed about applying sunscreen. Only 3 weeks until our cruise!
