overpriced ... and outside of its location, not that great of a hotel. Hampton Inns have better rooms than this place.

That has not been our experience.

Check out the Chelka Lodge in Diamond Point. Right on the lake with all rooms facing the lake.

Have you ever been to Lake George? Do you want to be right in the village, walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc? Have you considered the Bolton Landing area?
Are you the same poster that asked about Jellystone Campgrounds? If so, there’s one located in North Hudson, about 35 minutes north of Lake George.
