Sharing Meals on DDP Questions

I am taking my two daughters on a surprise birthday trip over Labor Day weekend. We are celebrating the older one's 16th birthday. I would love to take them to California Grill or Jiko as a special meal. We are only staying for 4 nights, so between the 3 of us we will have 12 credits for TS, correct? I know CG is a 2 credit meal. So, would it work for the three of us to share 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts at CG? That would "cost" us 4 credits, correct? Then, I have 8 left. We have Chef Mickey's which is a credit for each of us. That leaves us with 5 credits then. I have Spoodles and Coral Reef booked. Which of the two would it be better to plan on sharing? I'm leaning towards Spoodles and we each get our own meals at Coral Reef. Can all this be done? I want to make the most of our meals and do things we wouldn't normally do. Any advice would be welcome!

Maybe I worded it wrong the first time. Is it okay for the three of us to share two meals at California Grill and Spoodles so that we can make wise use of our credits? Is it required that each person at the table order their own meal, or is sharing okay?

Yep, I've been wondering if meal sharing on the DDP is okay. And if it is, where is the best place to do it?
I'm sure the buffets would be a faux pas, but we were there last December and you get A LOT of food!

Meal sharing is ok any place where you order off a menu. Yes, 3 people can share 2 meals. Or 2 people can share 1 meal...or whatever. You can also choose to order one meal off the plan and order a second beverage or whatever and pay out of pocket for it.

The only places where you cannot share are the buffet or all-you-can-eat type restaurants (like Liberty Tree Tavern, the skillet at Whispering, etc.)

Many people find that there is too much food on the DDP so sharing provides a way to stretch those credits and not feel overly full.

Thanks so much. Now, I have to decide if her birthday meal will be California Grill, Narcossee's, or Artist Point. Anybody have any suggestions on this or which would be the best 1 credit meal to share: Spoodles or Coral Reef?

TIA

You may want to check out the Food Porn thread for photos of the entrees at the restaurants you plan to share at, especially the photos from the last few months. Many of the finer restaurants are now serving more reasonable (smaller) portions, so you may not want to share at those restaurants any longer.

Good idea, bicker. I could always add an additional appetizer, also. With the CS food and a snack, I'm sure we would be plenty full enough.
