Snorkeling Question

If I bring my own mask and snorkel to Castaway Cay, will I be able to snorkel?

I've been to places where they would not let you snorkel unless you had fins and a life vest and am wondering if the same requirement exists on Castaway Cay?

They require a vest, but allow you to use theirs free of charge if you bring your snorkel.

AND... they leave piles of vests draped over chairs at the edge of the water, so you won't even have to stand in line to get one!
