Well, since my Canadian selection of Stompin' Tom Connors was posted (great choice, by the way! @Disneylover99), I will add fellow Canadian Tom Cochrane.

Tom Cochrane had his original version of Big League, but he came back with an acoustic version specifically for the victims of the Humboldt Broncos Bus Crash (April 2018), where 16 people were killed and 13 were injured while they were on their way to their next game.

The original is much more upbeat and energetic...obviously.
