I started to ask where all the people were in your pics. Then I saw 2am and COLD.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics and all the comments and have a safe trip back tomorrow. Looks like you are leaving just in time for the warm weather to return to the Fort. If it makes you feel any better, we are getting ice, sleet and snow tonight up here.

I've enjoyed reading your TR. It makes me want to buy a camper, I stayed at the cabins once but never camped. Y'all enjoy your last day and have a safe trip home.

Randy, my man, you have done a great job! Really appreciate your time to do this. You guys be careful pulling home, they're giving scattered storms, but not looking severe. Piece of advice, be sure to get up on your roof and sweep the straw off if you got any pines nearby. When I pulled out, I bet I had 2-3" of pine needles on my slide roof.

Well I hate this time of the trip, rolling up the site and heading back to LA (Lower Alabama). Just returned the cart to Kenny, had a go experience with using him, and will do it next time too. They are giving it to be windy up on the panhandle along I10, so this should be fun drive home. I have a few more pictures to upload, I'll do that when we get home,

Thanks to everyone who followed along with us on my first ever trip report, and for all the well wishes and comments. We have had a great time here and hope to be back soon.

Oh and BTW our friends that traveled down with us, now has the Disney bug too, so that's aa job well done in my book!!!

Tiggerdad thanks for the advice on sweeping the slides, they had some pine straw and pine cones, I think will be investing in some slide toppers.

One of the 'best' options you can have - 'all' debris just falls off as you pull the slides in!

Sounds like you really had a great trip - be safe going home!

Well we made it home safe and sound. It was a smooth ride home... going to unpack the camper tomorrow.

Just got done unloading the camper, that's a job in itself. I've have to take it to the dealer in the morning, the roof is leaking in the closet.

Maybe we will be able to meet up with you this summer down at Gulf State Park or on our way through Mobile.

Yeah that sounds a plan, let me know when yall book it and hopefully I'll be home from work.

We've been talking to our parents about going back to the Fort next February. My parents haven't been but my in laws have and are dying to go back. I pretty sure me and my wife will sneak back down this summer.

The wife maybe able to talk me into a trip next Feb. Actually she wanted to do Feb this year but we started planning late so moved it in to March. Was a great trip report and seemed like a great time.
