"Spilling tea" is a thing now?

My daughter explained this to me when she was in middle school. She's in college now!

A friend of mine just learned what a Karen is. I felt so cool 😎
Be careful with that one. It originally meant a *****y, entitled suburban soccer mom who demanded to see the manager when the heart on her latte foam didn’t look sharp enough (or whatever other petty, first-world issue was at hand). Of late it’s morphed into something much more sinister. :scratchin

My daughter (now 20) has been using it for years. That's how I know it. But as in "spill the T" not "spill the tea." T is short for truth, I believe, as a PP indicated.
