Split Stay with Dining Plan

We're spending our first night at Pop Century, and the remaining six nights at AKL. Assuming all our dining credits plus park hoppers will be coded onto our PC room key, will they then be transferred to the room key we get the next day at AKL? Assuming they take care of this at check-in at AKL, should we go there first thing the next morning? Thanks!

If you're only staying one night at PC you can only buy one day's worth of dining, and you can't transfer it to you AKL card. You will also need to use the dining credits before midnight of the day you check out of PC. You then won't be able to use the dining at AKL if you are using tickets you purchased at PC. You will be able to transfer your tickets to your AKL room key, but not the dining. You can transfer the tickets and use the A.K.L. key for park entry and the PC for dining or you can wait to check into AKL until you've used up your dining and then transfer your tickets at that time.

Are you planning on going into a park the day you arrive at PC? If not a good idea might be to do the PC reservation as "room only" and then check in at AKL (to activate dining and tickets) before you go to the park that day.

Thanks so much for the info! I've already booked PC as room-only, so I'll just keep it as that, as we won't be arriving until around 4:00 p.m. Since it'll be New Years Eve we're gonna just stick around the resort in order to avoid the crowds everywhere, so the dining plan for that one day won't help us at all. We'll just head on over to AKL first thing next morning and start our package plan there. Thanks again!
