Spring Break 2014

Long time visitors, first time reporters. Here is a recap of our recent trip to Disney World during Spring Break 2014.

This is us. We are northeastern yankees raising our two daughters in Texas.

We are DVC members and for this trip we chose to stay at our home resort.

Boardwalk Inn & Villas

To save on points, we opted for a 1-BR standard view. The view is not as pretty as waking up to the beep beeps of the Friendship boats but we did have a nice view of Illuminations at night. And it was interesting to see how early the transportation busses actually start their rounds.

Our trip began with an early evening arrival and a pizza from the Boardwalk Pizza Window. Then off to bed!

Day 2

Our first full day began with a nice breakfast in the villa. Bagels and cereals and Disney Must-Dos on the TV.

I should have waited to include a monorail but the girls were too excited to meet some pals

The Flower & Garden Festival started a few days before we arrived which was a nice surprise.

As Kiwi was exploring the gardens in France, Aurora surprised us with a meet'n'greet.

Pure joy!

We finished with a nice dinner at Via Napoli in Italy.
