Staying off-site for the first time. Spam me with your favourite resorts?

Hey lovely people!

We're planning on a last-minute(ish) trip this August/September and for the first time we're considering staying off-resort, mainly for cost related reasons.

For those who tend to stay off-site, what are your favourites? We'll mainly be doing 100% WDW, with an odd day at Universal so closeness is a priority.

We like Cabana Bay to be near Universal & near to Disney we usually stay in a villa

I wa going to say Cabana bay too but you won’t notice a price differential from the values at wdw! We did a cheap trip last year and staid in the Staybridge Suites by Seaworld. They’re new, huge rooms, free breakfast and central. Loved it.
