Good Morning Everyone: I'm back from a whirlwind weekend at WDW. Wow, it was nonstop and crazy. I'm trying to catch up.

I just saw Sara's post. I want to send out all my love and best wishes. You take care of yourself, and I wish all the best on your CT scan.

oops, forgot to mention, I got 5 miles in on the treadmill today. Thought I should put in a few miles in the next 22 days.

Just officially got my reservations for dinner at Germany (how could I not after seeing the full menu). I tried to get lunch with a imagineer on Friday but it was filled:sad2: so I'm looking for some other fun tour or something to do while DD6 is still at home and I'm a bit more "free"

I just got in my 20 miler- literally just walked upstairs off of the TM. It wasn't quite as fast as I had hoped but it wasn't bad either - of course I haven't tried to stand up from this chair yet... now off to shower and get DD from the bus.

They better be at least beertoddlers for Mindy.

:lmao::rotfl::woohoo::rotfl2:

I forgot how them young whipper snappers can drink.

By the way, someone please take the beer away from me if you start to see my son cringe from embarrassment. popcorn::

1. That's about the time to order another round!

2. Funny, but I don't need any ethanol assist making my daughters cringe from embarrassment. I thought DD13 was going to have a stroke the other week when I was checking out some sparkly gold tops at the mall to wear for the half.:confused3

Mike~ You aren't going for the lime green "jammies" look again this year? What is this world coming to? :lmao: I look forward to seeing the spectacle that you'll be on Half Marathon Morn.

Do I need to make an ADR for the get together or am I able to crash the party and get my drink on? Let me know what time, that kind of stuff... I will surely be there.

Two days ago I didn't run on the TM, I stopped with just 3 miles on the elliptical. A day off from running was helpful. Last night I logged 5 miles in 49:18, not setting the world on fire, but my knee felt fine throughout. I was able to vary the pace from around 10 minute miles down to 8:15 for a while and things went well. Everything felt ok which is a good thing. Today there is no lasting soreness in the knee either. :thumbsup2

I am looking forward to seeing all of you (even the lurkers) in WDW in just a few short weeks. Have a great (what is this?) Wednesday!

Jackie - Don't feel bad. We are all more than just a little afraid of Jodi. But the ironic part is that the real scary one is Sara. Just try to talk to her when she's running. Yikes!
You must have known I was sincere in my  for you all when you decided to kick the sick girl when she's down:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:. Not that I'd ever deny I'd completely ignore anyone who tried to talk to me during a race but I don't want it common knowledge with the lurkers who have never met me:flower3: I'd give you the shirt off my back any other time but swear I'd never met you once we've crossed the timing mats:confused3. Nothing personal, just energy conservation!!

Dave - Also, I know you have a birthday coming up real soon so I'm sending out my birthday wishes :cake: in case I'm not around when the time comes! Glad you all had a magical time at WDW and GKTW.

Colleen - Congrats on the 5 miles :cool1:

Jen - Awesome job on the 20 miler, especially on the TM:banana:

Mindy - Hoping the Candlelight Processional was wonderful:thumbsup2

Jodi - So proud of you for instilling the joys of running in Spencer:goodvibes

Howard - Loads of :wizard: for the knee!!

Bill - Since you're lurking, congrats on MCM and tell Lynnda I was drooling over the talk of pumpkin bread on FB:thumbsup2 Love the pics of Billy and Timmy!

Chester - Hoping your travels home from HI were uneventful. Congrats on Honolulu and to Tracy:cheer2:

3 hours of acupuncture to free my chi last night and I'm going back for another round tomorrow:hippie: I'm guessing that's something only Jodi can fully appreciate:) Have a great week guys :grouphug:

Sara - Love is a lot like Christmas goodies. You can only take so much sweet stuff before you need a little salty.

Wow, I should write cards for Hallmark!;)

Mike~ You aren't going for the lime green "jammies" look again this year?
Howard - Trust me, the PJ's are at the top of the packing list.

Good to hear the knee is behaving.

Funny, I've always thought this would be a good career for me. :confused3

That or a Doula.

I managed 4 miles (9:30 pace?) on the treadmill and a free weight workout at the YMCA last night. Tonight will make 12 workouts at the gym in December and I'll have earned a cool long-sleeve t-shirt! :thumbsup2 The treadmill running has improved and it's given me a chance to feel how I run, heel-toe, balance, arm movement, etc. I can't wait to put it out on the pavement in WDW in a few weeks. I am not confident I'll break all land speed records there, but I hope to have a great run experience during the marathon.

Mike~ For the most part, the knee is behaving. No major issues or pain from the "frequent use" of it during the last couple of weeks.

Sara~ :hug::hug:

Have an awesome Thursday!!!

WOW... slow day. I guess everyone is busy... popcorn::

I managed 3 miles in 28:21 on the treadmill at the YMCA last night. No time to do anything else. I was playing good husband running around for a Christmas gift at the mall for over an hour (with no luck).

It looks like we are expecting 6 - 10" of snow from this storm this weekend. Lovely. If you are going to be impacted by it, please be careful out there!

TGIF!!!
