The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

This may be a silly question, but the dresses have the built in layers underneath right? I am seriously considering the Minnie dress as my plan was to do Minnie Mouse for Halloween this year, but wasn't sure if I would need to put a crinoline underneath. The price isn't as bad if the skirt comes full like that (although how I will stuff it in my suitcase going home is another question).
Crinoline is separate.

FYI - One thing to keep in mind is that dressing rooms are pretty non-existent. Some women were being escorted by Cast Members over to Tren-D where they have a few. So make sure that you take a few different sizes with you to avoid extra trips! Why on earth would they have no dressing rooms at a dress shop?! :sad2: How stupid!!! :lmao:

Cause the 'dress shop' wasn't what was originally sold they just had the Dooneys, Vera Bradleys and other high end accessories
There is one room converted over from Zoe and pickles (which has since been converted to TAG)

Once they decided to sell dresses they should have made dressing rooms. Can't drink coffee without a cup! :P

I just got the haunted mansion dress in M. It's beyond comfy, fits, and HAS POCKETS!

I SHOULD be a S, but I've put on 20 lbs in the past year. I'm kind of in between S & M. If I lose the 20, the M will be too big. (guess I'll have to buy another one then - oh well) I'm 5' 1", 135 lbs - 36 chest.

I'm leaning toward wearing it for one of my MNSSHP costumes - either adding maid accessories, or adding goth/lady in mourning accessories.

I'm totally wearing it to work next week!

Thanks for your measurements and dress size - Now things make sense! :-) :thanks:

Please forgive me for not reading all 16 pages of this thread.

Is the only way to obtain these beautiful dresses to go to the shops in their respective parks? Is there a place online where we can at least look at each dress and the matching accessories? I would LOVE to wear one of these beauties for my wedding events (rehearsal dinner, etc..). I would hate to have to go to Disneyland just for..............................wait never mind LOL.

No seriously, is there anyway to see the entire collection online with maybe a phone number to call to order?

Unfortunately not. Some dresses do show up if you search "The Dress Shop" on the Disney parks store, but not all. Here is a blog post that has more photos: https://www.google.com/amp/s/blogmickey.com/2017/08/dress-shop-cherry-tree-lane/amp/

As for ordering, it's all in-store only. So either you have to go, or find someone who can :(

Anyone have a good picture of the Small World dress? the only 2 pics I have found are..... one is too small to see the detail and the other is a side view of it on a hanger. And if you know the price? thanks!!!

Darn, looks like I'll need to make a trip, that's just awefull (she said with a gleam in her eye and a smile from ear to ear)

Some of the dresses were available at Magic Kingdom Emporium otherwise you'll have to go to Downtown Disney.

I think it is $78. I remember the colors not being quite as vibrant in person as the pictures online.

I was just at the shop the other day and they were fully stocked, all styles and all sizes. It was great to have full selection. I ended up with the Tiki Room and my daughter got the Alice in Wonderland.
Keep in mind, the different dresses fit differently, you can't just go by your size. Different materials and cuts, if you're a L in one dress, you may be a XL or M in another.
We were going on a cruise and had beautiful pictures taken by on board photographers. The completely black backdrop was the best. It highlights the dresses so nicely. I thought the all white would be, but when we saw the black, the colors just pop off the screen.

!

Wanted to share that I purchased MEDIUM sizes of the Tower of Terror and Belle dresses. Both fit perfectly and exactly like thew Haunted Mansion dress. So at least these 3 dresses track for sizing. Wish Belle had pockets.

I also found a crenlin underskirt for $10 on ebay that works perfectly for all 3 dresses.

i bought a "maid accessory kit" and will add it to the haunted mansion dress for one of the MNSSHP.
